[Remilia cosplay] Full of majesty young lady, where did this kid come from?

This time, to capture that contrast of being both majestic yet slightly childish in Touhou Project's Remilia Scarlet, we put a lot of thought into the scenes and costumes. The moment I put on this pink Lolita fashion, I felt like my whole body was wrapped in intricate lace and red polka-dot bows. The skirt hem was layered upon layer, with very rich red piping details along the edges. To restore the character, I specially changed into light purple short hair, paired with red contact lenses. In terms of eye makeup, the red smudging was intensified, and the blush was also applied rather heavily, hoping to present that exquisite doll-like feeling. Although the small black bat wings prop on the back wasn't big, it made the overall silhouette more complete. The shooting venue was chosen as a retro-style interior; the dark red leather sofa, gorgeous crystal chandelier, plus the vintage gramophone and stacks of old books in the background already carried a strong classical atmosphere. In terms of props, we prepared a skull model with good texture, bright red apples, a vintage telephone, and a feather pen. The first group of poses was sitting on the sofa holding the skull. At first, I couldn't quite find the feeling, because I had to maintain the young lady's elegant sitting posture while also showing an inviolable sense of majesty. The photographer reminded me that I could treat the skull as some disobedient toy or subordinate, with a colder gaze. As a result, looking at the lens after striking the pose, that condescending feeling was indeed there, but combined with the pink skirt hem and cute headwear, it inexplicably felt like a kid pretending to be an adult. Later, when picking up the red apple and placing it near my mouth, the posture became much more relaxed. The photographer happened to capture the moment I was sitting at the desk writing; that setting of handling documents in the study really suited this character very well. To make the frame more layered, we used warmer tones in the lighting to set off the retro feel, while adding some cool fill light from certain angles, making the pink dress and bright red apple pop out especially in the frame. Wearing this outfit is actually quite tiring; the skirt hem is large, and walking between the sofa and the desk requires careful attention to avoid stepping on the skirt edge. But seeing the effect of the White stockings paired with black Mary Jane shoes in the finished photos made all these troubles worth it. The shot holding the long spear was taken last; I stood in front of the mirror looking for angles for a long time, and although I held the prop gun trying hard to look imposing, the reflection in the mirror still revealed a trace of childishness—truly living up to the phrase "where did this kid come from?" The entire shooting process was spent in this atmosphere of trying to be majestic yet constantly breaking character, and in the end, being able to see such a set of pictures filled with Gothic fairytale style makes me feel extremely satisfied.
