This time, I shot Cheshire's concert-themed look from Azur Lane. The overall costume is a black-and-gold maid outfit style gown, and the mesh patchwork on the upper body along with the lace details on the cuffs show a very crisp texture under the lens. To fit the concert setting, we specially used a large number of golden crystal chandeliers and warm light sources in the set design, which, combined with the dead leaves scattered all over the floor, created a vintage and slightly dreamlike stage presence. Actually, I wanted to emphasize the concept of an "item match" in this session—this yellow scientific ninja tool plushie in my hand serves as an easter egg, creating a gap-moe effect with the overall gorgeous scenery. During the shoot, I tried a few different poses. In both kneeling and standing postures, I tried my best to let the skirt hem spread out naturally, revealing the gold thread piping along the edges and the bow tie on the back, while the gloves and hair accessories were also color-coordinated accordingly. Integrating this scientific ninja tool element adds a bit of playfulness to the entire visual. It's not just a straightforward anime recreation, but places the character in a scene with a stronger narrative feel. The blue-gray gradient of the wig took on a silver-purple effect under the warm light, echoing the subtle patterns of the black dress beautifully. The venue offered a strong sense of spatial depth. By using the foreground and background depth of field from the chandeliers to spread out the layers, standing in the center didn't look out of place and blended seamlessly with the environment. This was a very satisfying attempt where a lot of thought went into everything from the costumes and props to the lighting setup. I hope it beautifully captures Cheshire's lively yet elegant temperament through this cosplay photography session.
