This time for the Oiran-themed shoot, a lot of energy was spent preparing the makeup, styling, and props. To recreate that alluring vibe of a fox spirit under the moonlight, the wig underwent some layered thinning to make the hair strands appear lighter. The pair of fluffy fox ears on top of the head was the key fixation point, combined with the red flower and semi-circular comb hair accessory on the right side, establishing the overall silhouette.

In terms of costume, a classic red-and-gold color-blocked kimono was chosen; the golden piping boasts great texture under the light, and the white plum blossom embroidery along the skirt hem adds some eye-catching detail points. The inner white tube top was meant to match that slightly slipping, lazy Oiran feel. For makeup, red-brown circle lenses are the soul, paired with red-toned eyeshadow blending and eyeliner to emphasize the depth of the gaze. To add a fantasy touch, a red totem tattoo was specially drawn on the collarbone, a detail that stands out exceptionally well in close-up shots.

The shooting location was decorated with Japanese-style wooden structures, paper lanterns, and that giant full moon and cherry blossom branches in the background. Those massive plush tails—one vibrant orange and one pure white—stacked behind and on the ground not only increased the composition's layering but also brought a fluffy softness to the entire scene. When holding that long pipe with red tassels, the wrist strength and finger placement both required adjustment; paired with resting the chin on the hand or pointing at the lens, I tried my best to showcase a posture that is both casual and seductive.

The equipment used this time was the EOS R5 Mark II paired with the RF 24-105mm F2.8L USM. This combination performed very reliably when dealing with such complex lighting and detail-rich scenes. The background blur brought by the wide aperture excellently highlighted the main subject, while the lens's resolving power clearly recorded the garment's texture, accessory details, and hair texture. When shooting poses like lying sideways or looking back, the R5 Mark II's autofocus system locked on accurately, allowing me to focus more on expressing expressions and body language.

Regarding my understanding of the character setting: the little fox spirit who is best at charming hearts under the moonlight is actually groping for true love. Therefore, in expression management, I didn't maintain a single alluring demeanor throughout; instead, during moments of crossed gazes or relaxation, I incorporated a hint of coolness or bewilderment. The Oiran's gorgeous exterior intertwined with the fox's true nature, conveying this sense of contradiction through subtle body movements and gazes. Every press of the shutter is an attempt to capture the moment when light, shadow, and character merge. This Chinese-style scene and gorgeous styling count as a deeply dedicated visual presentation, recording these images rich in Eastern aesthetics.
