This set of event photos shooting Daji at the comic convention put a lot of thought into both styling and set decoration. This costume is primarily bright blue, paired with an abundance of white lace and ruffles. To present the fluffiness of the skirt hem, a highly supportive petticoat was worn underneath. The skirt has numerous layers, requiring special attention during shooting to tidy up—preventing accidental exposure while ensuring the flatness of the lace edges so it can present the best texture before the lens. The heart decoration on the chest and the white heart-shaped pocket at the waist feature materials with slight reflectivity. Under the harsh top lighting environment of the convention hall, angles needed to be slightly adjusted to avoid overexposed reflective spots. The giant pink tail behind is the focus of the entire styling and also the greatest challenge. To maintain its streamlined three-dimensional feel, this prop utilizes a hard material supported by an internal skeleton. It has a certain weight, and wearing it behind shifts the center of gravity backward, so when standing for shots, core muscles must be tightened and the body slightly leaned forward to balance. In the photo lifting the skirt, both hands not only pulled open the skirt to showcase layers but also used peripheral vision to mind the tail's swinging range, avoiding hitting nearby props. The sitting pose photo was relatively relaxing, but while crossing legs, the tail also needed to hang down naturally without looking too stiff. The beast-ear headband on the head pinches the scalp after long periods of wear, but for styling completeness, a composed expression must be maintained before the lens. The wig was dyed pink, and the makeup intentionally selected eyeshadow of the same color family along with pink circle lenses. Because of distance and lighting reasons in convention event photography, the makeup will be heavier than daily life so that the camera captures more layering. The over-the-knee White stockings paired with platform Mary Jane shoes not only refine the leg shape but also reduce fatigue during actual walking, as walking around a comic convention for a day demands high physical stamina. To match the afternoon tea theme, the site was decorated with a round table draped with a lace tablecloth, silver tea sets, a three-tier dessert stand, and a bread box filled with baguettes. For the action of holding a teacup while sitting on a bar stool, the wrist should be relaxed and the gaze natural. For the third photo doing a beast-paw gesture, the bending arc of the fingers needed practice so as not to look too rigid, coordinating with an open mouth to showcase the character's liveliness. In the cluttered convention hall, quickly entering the character's state and locking onto the camera lens is a mandatory course for every cosplay event photo shoot. This shoot, whether in prop presentation or character state, perfectly matched the expected vision.
