[Daji cosplay] Honor of Kings: An Exotic style cosplay Custom design cosplay of the Detail-Rich Blue and Gold Fox Spirit

For this Daji cosplay Exotic style cosplay and Custom design cosplay attire, from selecting materials to the final fitting, what satisfied me most was the negative-space design around the waist and midriff. The top utilizes blue chiffon with a subtle shimmering texture; to ensure the strapless tube top maintained its crisp structure, the inner lining underwent specialized stiffening, ensuring it molded seamlessly to my silhouette without shifting during dynamic movement. The massive emerald centerpiece mount on the chest was cast in resin and hand-painted; its surrounding golden chains and bottom gold coin tassels cast gorgeous refracted gleams under the studio lighting. For the lower garment, deep navy velvet served as the base layer beneath a floating sheer translucent tulle, so the fabric fluttered gracefully with each stride while the velvet anchored the visual weight, preventing it from appearing overly flimsy.

For the wig, I deliberately chose a style with an orange-red gradient; the faux beast ears at the crown followed the same color palette with harmonious highlights, combed and set with styling spray to look soft and fluffy. To honor the exotic aesthetic, the forehead jewelry, necklace, armlets, bracelets, and anklets were all swapped for antique-textured gold. Many friends asked why I went barefoot—it was actually to complement the agile dancer motif, where the anklets perfectly accentuated the contours of my ankles. In terms of makeup, focus was placed on three-dimensional facial contouring; the eye makeup utilized warm orange-brown tones accented with gold leaf flakes, keeping the overall makeup crisp and clean without heavy, muddy layers.

When posing, I deliberately chose postures that flattered body curves, such as crossing one leg or extending laterally. Because this costume has a relatively high degree of exposed skin, it puts body contours to the test; however, I feel that a slight, healthy softness actually supports this exotic allure better—as long as the core is engaged, poses look fluid and relaxed. The cat behind me was actually staring at me with intense curiosity the whole time, perching right beside me while snapping these frames, making the atmosphere wonderfully chill.

For this Custom design cosplay, my interpretation of the character leans more toward agile wit and confidence, which might deviate slightly in details from official canon, so I apologize in advance for any potential OOC (out of character) elements. Through this design, I hoped to convey the character's bewitching enchantment coupled with inner strength. The costume features numerous accessories, and putting everything on certainly took considerable time—especially those winding arm chains, which had to be calibrated so they didn't pinch the skin while ensuring visual appeal. The shooting set didn't employ overly elaborate backdrops; we primarily relied on lighting and character presence to carry the ambiance of this Game cosplay, and post-production only slightly tuned light and color to preserve the authentic texture of the fabrics as much as possible.
