On October 3, 2026, at CICF Day 2, this Da Qiao Bride coordinate finally made its debut! Although I have crafted bridal looks quite a few times before, the sheer complexity of this Da Qiao outfit exceeded my expectations. Composed of multi-tiered tulle skirts, delicate lace, and silk textures, I layered a blue-toned petticoat underneath and meticulously ironed every single layer flat to achieve that sheer, translucent luminescence seen in photos under bright Anime convention lights. For the wig, the purple-grey gradient long straight hair took me two full days of detangling and heat styling; the silver-white crown and lace veil atop my head had to be pinned securely to prevent any mishap when moving outdoors.

I woke up at 4:00 AM to begin makeup, selecting a matte finish for the base since intense venue lighting easily creates unwanted facial glare. The eye makeup deepened the red shadow blending, paired with blue contacts to recreate that gentle, dreamy gaze. After slipping into the over-the-knee white lace stockings and pure white high heels, I taped non-slip grips inside the tops to prevent slipping—a handy trick learned after countless past lessons.

The shooting location was a commercial street outside the expo hall with moderate foot traffic, where backdrop skyscrapers and glass curtain walls formed a fascinating clash of modern realism and fantasy with this western-style bridal gown. Huge thanks to photographer NightDiva, who excels at combining ambient environmental light with off-camera strobes. We started shooting around 4:00 PM when the lighting turned cooler, perfectly harmonizing with the soft blue tones of the gown. To display the skirt's voluminous flare at its best, I explored standing, sitting, and posing with a high stool. While seated, to visually elongate leg contours, I rested my weight across the hips, pointed my toes, and smoothed out the puddle of tulle tiers across the pavement to keep the silhouette clean. Walking around on hard pavement in stilettos was exhausting, yet seeing the camera previews made every bit of effort worthwhile.

To me, Da Qiao has always embodied gentle tenderness and steadfast guardianship. Her Bride skin softens the sharp edge of combat, imbuing her with dreamy warmth. When posing, I kept my arm lines relaxed, fingers softly splayed or clasped over my chest, letting my gaze drift peacefully into the distance rather than staring intently at the lens to convey quiet serenity. The Anime convention drew large crowds, and many Honor of Kings players recognized me, shouting 'Da Qiao!' across the street. Hearing that was deeply touching and reaffirmed why I craft these coordinates by hand. From intricate wardrobe tailoring to facial expressions, I hope to stay faithful to the character and deliver an immersive visual experience to everyone who loves her.
