[Kochiya Sanae Cosplay] Touhou Project fanon Arahitogami's blue and white fantasy

This set of Kochiya Sanae Cosplay featuring Touhou fanon took nearly a month from material selection to the final shoot. Since it was created based on fanon, while retaining the core traits of the character, I added some of my own understanding regarding the identity of Arahitogami.
The wig was chosen in a high-saturation bright green. This color easily makes skin look dark in front of the lens, so in the makeup, I increased the proportion of pink blush, paired with blue contact lenses, to create a contrast between facial colors and hair color. The headwear part is one of my favorite details in the entire styling: a blue-and-white laced bow has a red-eyed, white-bodied plush frog doll lying on it, with white cylindrical pendants hanging underneath. This fairy-tale-like design nicely neutralizes the sense of distance of a deity setting.
The layers of the clothing are very numerous. The top is a splicing of cyan-gold brocade and white lace, with a silver necklace inlaid with a sapphire hanging on the chest. The sleeves are wide trumpet sleeves with a very long stretch of lace trim sewn along the edges, which naturally drape down when lifting the hands. The waist is cinched with a blue wide obi, hanging metal pendants with tassels. The skirt hem has a multi-layered structure, with the outer layer covered by lightweight tulle and fabric with hot-stamping patterns, and the length is just above the knees. To increase the overall layering, I paired it with white pantyhose and dark brown platform loafers. Platform shoes not only elongate the leg lines but also ensure my comfort during long hours of standing shoots.
Props were a major focus of this shoot. The golden multi-layered pagoda-shaped staff was covered with golden bells, and several rainbow ribbons (red, yellow, green, and blue) were tied below the red grip. To capture the lightness of the ribbons blowing in the wind, we specially found an indoor venue with this huge black-framed floor-to-ceiling window. Natural light filters in, allowing the lace patterns and hidden patterns on the skirt hem to be displayed more clearly. However, one must be very careful when sitting on the ground because the skirt fabric is quite long, making it easy to press on the Stockings or get them dirty.
The scepter itself has a certain weight, so when posing, attention needs to be paid to wrist strength, otherwise it's easy to make the movements look stiff. I held the scepter high or held it in front of my chest, cooperating with the body's tilt angle to try to showcase the state of Arahitogami that combines both majesty and girlishness. When taking photos, there were reflections of cars and green trees outside the glass, and these reflections added a sense of intertwined disorder between modernity and classicism to the frame. This styling has a lot of layers and details, and I hope everyone likes this different attempt.
