This Halloween styling of Nozomi Tojo is actually a style I've always wanted to try. Compared to regular uniforms or live costumes, this kind of fantasy-themed holiday style always gives me a lot of new inspiration. In the overall coordination, I kept Nozomi's iconic purple short hair. To match the Halloween atmosphere, I specially added animal ear headwear with an orange lining, and pinned a small wizard hat on one of the ears to add a bit of playful fun. The costume chosen is a blue-and-white striped sleeveless top with an orange collar; the huge brown-and-white striped bow on the chest is the visual center, coupled with the wide belt and metal buckle at the waist, making the overall styling more layered and three-dimensional. A lot of thought went into trimming and styling the wig; to present that natural, fluffy yet not too heavy texture, I adjusted the layers bit by bit, especially the treatment of the blunt bangs and sideburns, trying my best to fit the character's facial contours.
In terms of makeup, I deliberately chose light green colored contact lenses this time to restore the character. The eye makeup emphasized the curl of the eyelashes to make the gaze look more vivid. The base makeup remains clear and translucent, matched with orange-toned blush and lip gloss, echoing the pumpkin lantern and the warm tones of the overall frame. During the shoot, the pumpkin lantern prop was a great interaction point; supporting it with one hand not only makes the action look more natural, but also brings a fairy-tale-like magical feel to the frame. The other hand is spread open, paired with a slightly tilted head posture, wanting to showcase Nozomi's gentle yet somewhat mysterious feeling. The background chose a black-and-white checkered floor, coupled with a dark-toned set and warm-yellow lighting, creating a somewhat retro and somewhat Halloween-specific dim atmosphere.
The post-processing graffiti decoration is a highlight of this photo set. Purple and orange lines outline the contours of the character and the pumpkin, coupled with hand-drawn style candy, heart, star, and fireworks stickers, turning photos that might otherwise be more realistic into visual images full of festive atmosphere. This lightweight post-processing not only preserves the texture of the coser herself and the costume, but also greatly enhances the fun of the frame. Every time I do a cosplay, whether it's casting, preparing costumes and props, or post-processing conception, I hope to bring different surprises to everyone. This Halloween Nozomi can also be considered an expression of my understanding of this character; I hope that on the basis of restoration, I can add more creative elements that fit the holiday atmosphere, allowing everyone to see a Nozomi Tojo who is both familiar and somewhat different. During the shooting process, I also tried different lighting angles, utilizing side-backlighting to outline the edges of the hair, making the purple hair look glossier while highlighting the three-dimensional sense of the pumpkin lantern. The placement of the entire set and props has also been carefully considered, striving to achieve the most harmonious visual effect.
