This time, I cosplayed Le Malin from Azur Lane with the theme of a lazy White rabbit. Before shooting, I pondered for a long time because Le Malin's character inherently carries a languid personality with a touch of petulance, while the White rabbit motif adds an extra layer of softness and cool serenity. Therefore, for the makeup, I deliberately softened any sharpness, using a translucent base paired with light-toned eyeshadow and blue contact lenses to present a state as if just waking up in the sunlight. Regarding the costume, this pure white bunny girl bodysuit demanded high precision in its details: the lace ruffled shoulders had to sit precisely at the collarbones without feeling cramped, while the metal buckles on the wrist cuffs and collar were adjusted repeatedly to allow ease of movement while maintaining that refined, structured look. What pleased me most during the shoot was the lighting—the high-intensity backlighting hitting the hair and bunny ears made the plush edges glow with a soft halo, enveloping the entire figure in light. The small yellow plush held in hand was specifically chosen to add a splash of bright yellow amidst the sea of pure white, visually brightening the scene while its round, chubby shape perfectly complemented Le Malin's charming indolence. When taking this set, we also specifically introduced a gentle white smoke effect near the legs; although it took quite a bit of fine-tuning during retouching, the resulting misty effect softened the rigid lines of the steps and infused the frame with a dreamlike quality. In truth, for the character of Le Malin, I have always thought about how to visually express the word "languid"—she doesn't strike overly strenuous poses, but every relaxed gesture hides a subtle intention, such as this bent-knee seated pose, which highlights both the leg lines and the texture of the White thigh-highs outfit while appearing casual and natural. The sheer sheen and snug fit of the white stockings were particularly pronounced under side lighting, and combined with the angles of the posture, gave the entire composition a sense of extension. The entire process from styling to shooting took about four hours, while post-processing only involved basic skin tone evening and detail sharpening, fully preserving the pristine, clear texture of the raw shots. Such a pure White rabbit theme heavily tests both makeup and lighting—lacking either element would make it look bland—making this a very satisfying endeavor.
