This time cosplaying Cheshire from Azur Lane, I've been looking forward to it ever since I got the outfit. The design of this costume is extremely intricate, and the blue-and-white color scheme is both refreshing and gorgeous. The gigantic lace-trimmed wide-brimmed hat is adorned with blue flowers and features long ribbons hanging down that sway in the wind when walking, looking exceptionally lively. To match the overall hair and makeup styling, I wore a silver-gray short wig mixed with some blue highlights. The eye makeup heavily emphasized bright blue contact lenses and reddish eyeshadow, with bright red lips, striving to restore that doll-like feel unique to 2D characters.

The biggest challenge during the shoot was wearing, removing, and moving around in the costume. The crisscross lacing of the corset needed to be tied very tightly to achieve the desired effect, but this also meant breathing was somewhat restricted. The skirt hem on the lower half features a multi-layered tulle design that is short in the front and long in the back; it's lightweight but covers a large area, making it easy to look bulky if not handled properly. When posing, I paid special attention to displaying my leg contours, such as crossing my legs while sitting on the ground or slightly raising my instep. White lace leg garters paired with strappy high heels carried incredible tension before the lens. The heels are quite tall, and to maintain balance while keeping the posture natural, the insteps needed to be tensed straight, which is a considerable test of physical stamina. To capture that dreamy yet slightly seductive Atmosphere, I utilized a white lace folding fan and parasol as props. Half-concealing my face with the folding fan to reveal only a pair of eyes, or opening the parasol and tilting it slightly, both successfully generated different visual feelings. The fan and umbrella in my hand were not merely props, but extensions of my limbs, helping me find a pivot point amidst the intense shooting.

Since it was Cheshire, that brisk and clingy tone of voice kept echoing in my mind. That line, "Master~ come dance with me!" was something I tried using on site to drive my facial expressions. To make the gaze appear more enchanting, I repeatedly micro-adjusted the angle of my head before the lens, ensuring the lighting could perfectly capture the luster of the contact lenses. The photographer kept guiding me to relax, letting me naturally touch the white tulle, statues, and artificial flowers in the scene. The cross and angel statues in the setting matched the holy feel of this outfit wonderfully, and the light striking the white tulle produced a hazy, soft-glow effect.

During shooting breaks, I also repeatedly checked the condition of the hat and wig to prevent hair strands from getting caught in the lace and ruining the frame's neatness. As a coser, every shoot represents a brand-new challenge. From makeup trials and costume fittings to on-site coordination with the team, every single link requires extensive communication and adjustment. The smooth completion of this Cosplay photoshoot was inseparable from the hard work of the photographer and the logistics team. On site, we constantly experimented with new compositions, and to capture a perfect sitting posture, we might have had to repeatedly drop down and get back up on the hard floor several times. This was not only a visual presentation, but also a consumption of physical energy. Yet seeing that fantasy-filled blue figure in the final deliverables made all the exhaustion entirely worthwhile. I will continue to hone my expressiveness to recreate more beloved characters, transforming every flat-image shoot into a three-dimensional memory.
