The design of this blue-and-white sailor suit is truly eye-catching. To faithfully recreate Phoebe's aesthetic, I dedicated substantial effort to selecting the costume fabrics. The white fabric of the top needed both a fluid drape and structured crispness so that wearing it would radiate that vibrant, youthful energy. The blue sailor collar and the oversized striped bow at the chest serve as the soul of the outfit; I reinforced the bow's three-dimensional shape with stiff interlining to ensure it wouldn't collapse and would maintain a crisp form throughout the shoot. The layered construction of the skirt was equally essential: the light-blue inner tier, white lace trims, and deep-blue flared ruffles on the outside create a delightful sweep whether moving or seated. Paired with white pumpkin bloomers underneath, it offers both security and sheer cuteness.

The head styling was another crucial focal point, with the blue beret serving as the crowning touch. I pinned a small white daisy onto the side of the beret, echoing the woven wicker flower basket prop beside me. For the wig, to achieve an airy, natural bounce, the blonde hair was meticulously groomed, with blunt bangs and gently curled sidelocks trimmed to frame and slim down the face. On makeup, fitting an anime-inspired cosplay, I wore purplish-pink contact lenses. The eye styling deepened the blended eyeshadow and winged eyeliner to enlarge the eyes, paired with a lively water-pink lip to channel an innocent, sweet presence.

Because this was an indoor studio shoot against a pure white cyclorama, lighting was paramount. I asked the photographer to use large softboxes to diffuse even illumination across my face and body, banishing harsh shadows and highlighting luminous porcelain skin. In choreographing poses, I explored diverse stances to capture the character's adorableness. For example, in the first photo, crossing my legs while forming a heart gesture before my chest conveyed an obedient charm while elongating the leg lines. In later shots, lightly pinching the skirt hem, steadying the beret with one hand, or spreading my arms outward each captured unique emotional nuances and dynamic flair. The wicker basket and daisies were props I curated personally, infusing domestic warmth and rustic pastoral charm into the clean white studio.

I was originally drawn to cosplaying this character out of pure love for her concept—as I mused in my post, you can't help but feel you haven't truly lived until you've cherished a girl as cute as Phoebe. Throughout prep and shooting, from selecting garments and crafting props to refining makeup takes, I gave everything to capture her essence. Though the process was demanding, seeing the final photo set made every bit of effort worthwhile. I hope these photos let everyone feel Phoebe's irresistible charm.
