For this Honkai: Star Rail Evanescia new skin cosplay, the overall color tone is highly unified, focusing on an intertwined pink, white, and red anime feel. To accurately restore the character's traits, I did a lot of research and preparation on makeup, styling, and costume details.

Starting with the wig, this pink wig has numerous layers; a lot of time was spent on early trimming and styling to achieve a natural yet fluffy dynamic look. The pink bunny ear decoration on top was actually a fixture challenge; it needed to maintain a specific angle while ensuring it wouldn't collapse during a long shoot, so a hidden internal support structure was built inside. Paired with red-and-white ribbons and pearl hair clips, the overall head styling was finally complete.

In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on eye makeup and facial features. The purple-pink circle lenses are the finishing touch, and the eyeshadow and blush also adopted pinkish tones, creating a translucent anime-style vibe. The red patterns on both sides of the cheeks were slowly outlined with a fine brush, and the details look exquisite even up close. The base makeup was kept relatively pale to better fit the character's setting.

The costume design is rich, featuring an off-the-shoulder design combined with Japanese-style elements spliced together, with red-and-white contrasts on the collar and cuffs. The sleeves' pink ruffles and gold trim really tested ironing skills and had to be smoothed out before the photos to prevent reflections from affecting the texture. The pink flower decorations on the chest and cuffs give the overall styling more depth. The black choker around the neck and the pink braided rope tassels on the wrists are key accessories that enhance character recognition.

During the shoot, to showcase the garment's lightness, I tried various gestures and angles, such as flashing a V-sign, which not only livened up the frame but also guided the line of sight. The background featured Japanese paper sliding doors, autumn maple leaves, and a moon lamp, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Standing for a long time can indeed be a bit tiring, especially wearing heavy headpieces and a wig while maintaining stretched-out arm poses.

During a break halfway through, heading back to the car, I directly took off the outer kimono coat and wore just the everyday T-shirt underneath. Although the wig and headpieces weren't removed yet, leaning back with closed eyes against a leaf-embroidered throw pillow made me feel completely relaxed. Sometimes this behind-the-scenes state is also part of the cosplay experience—transitioning from an exquisite character state back to everyday life creates a wonderful sense of contrast. From preparation to shooting, every single detail of this cosplay is worth scrutinizing, and I hope to convey the character's charm through these photos.
