On the grass of the Zenless Zone Zero outdoor location at the world line anime convention, a lot of thought was indeed put into presenting this Remielle pink short hair and pure white angel wings styling. The outdoor light and wind of that day were no small challenges, but as a coser, facing this kind of shooting environment, I've long been used to improvising. Since we said "We are accomplices, oh", I intentionally added some guest-like gestures in the action design, such as resting the chin on one hand, reaching forward, or slightly leaning forward sitting posture, hoping to create an intimate yet slightly dangerous atmosphere.
Let's talk about the preparation work for this styling first. The pink short hair is trimmed quite neatly. To avoid the top of the head looking too flat, I used positioning products to pad the hair roots higher, and the blue bow and star hairpin between the hair must be clipped to the exact position. The key point of the makeup lies in the eye makeup; red contact lenses paired with slightly upturned eyeliner can make it look more spirited in front of the lens. For lip makeup, I chose a moisturizing red tone to maintain the overall facial complexion. Concealer was used for transition at the junction of the wig and elf ear props to avoid exposure.
Regarding clothing and props, the layering of this outfit is extremely strong. The white strapped corset and the cutout design on the chest have a certain visual extension, but wearing them requires patience. You must ensure the strap tightness is appropriate, otherwise breathing will be very tiring after a full day. That pair of white angel wings on the back is what requires the most thought. To maintain the styling in densely populated places like the anime convention, I used invisible straps and transparent fishing lines to closely fit and fix the wing base and back. Even though the wind on the grass is strong, it can maintain a relatively good deployment angle.
For the lower body, I matched white over-the-knee long stockings and silver high heels with bows. Choosing white stockings actually tests leg lines quite a bit. During the shoot, I would intentionally adjust angles, such as sitting on a white plastic box, extending legs naturally forward or slightly crossing them, which can both utilize the box's height to make leg lines look smoother and make the entire composition fuller. However, walking on grass in high heels really requires care; soft soil areas are prone to sinking, so I tried my best to slow down my pace when moving.
In terms of photography, we tried our best to avoid dense tourists in the background. The large aperture played a great blurring role during shooting, making the tall grass in the background and the distant anime convention crowd blurred, letting the visual center completely focus on this white-and-pink color-matched styling. A few shots are eye-level close-ups, mainly to showcase the facial demeanor and star decoration details at the collar, while a few other shots take a slightly low-angle perspective, which can showcase the angel wings and overall aura more comprehensively. The hardest part of outdoor photography is light control; the natural light in the afternoon is relatively soft, but the reflections in the grass make white easily overexposed, so during the shoot I frequently communicated with the photographer to adjust standing positions, or used body angles to block direct light.
Shooting this set of pictures is a process of constantly adjusting details. One must balance the completeness of the costume, the naturalness of actions, and maintain the relaxation of facial expressions. Moving around in this attire at the anime convention is indeed not very convenient, especially the floating ribbons on the sleeves and the angel wings on the back are easily snagged, but every time pictures meeting expectations can be shot, those trivial troubles feel like nothing. This is the record belonging to Remielle, a visual experience brought to everyone in the world of Zenless Zone Zero.
