[Sunna cosplay] Studio photoshoot record of summer watermelon and mint-green twintails

This shoot of Sunna cosplay for this set of photos set the style on a refreshing summer feel right from the early planning stage. The wig features a light mint-green Twintails styling. To fit the character better, the bangs were slightly processed with stray-hair styling. The hair accessories are a few hairpins with pixelated styles and electronic elements; such small details actually greatly affect the presentation of the overall temperament.

In terms of makeup, the smudging range of the eyeshadow was intentionally deepened, using reddish-pink tones paired with light-colored contact lenses to create an intoxicated visual effect. The blush on the cheeks was applied quite high. Combined with this kind of Jirai-kei style makeup, under the lighting of the white studio, it makes the character look more translucent. A black choker was worn around the neck, with a red bell pendant added, which matches the overall atmosphere very well.

For clothing, a dark blue one-piece Swimsuit cosplay was chosen. The material is relatively body-hugging, suitable for the clean background of studio photography. Hand accessories consisted of red-and-white striped sleeve covers, and the lower body was paired with White stockings. Red straps were added to the thighs as decoration, increasing a sense of layering. The most important prop is that huge Watermelon swim ring; the red-and-green alternating color scheme plus the black watermelon seed pattern forms a great color contrast with the mint-green hair color.

Two main postures were tried during the shooting process. The first group involved leaning forward and lying on the Watermelon swim ring with hands crossed, mainly to showcase the upper body lines and gaze interaction. The second group involved sitting sideways on the Watermelon swim ring with legs naturally extended, focusing on displaying the legs and White stockings, with hand movements placed in front of the chest, accompanied by a slight head tilt to make the frame look softer.

Studio photography has extremely high requirements for lighting; a pure white background can easily make the image lose its layers, so a softbox was added to the front main light, and a reflector was added to the side for fill light to ensure the character's facial contours are clear and dark parts of the clothes don't lose details. To adjust the sitting posture well and make the edges of the swimsuit and leg lines look smoother, angles were repeatedly confirmed with the photographer. The prop Watermelon swim ring was actually quite exhausting to inflate, and carrying it into the studio also took a lot of effort, but seeing the vivid color collision in the finished photos made all of this feel worth it.

I am very satisfied with the overall result; the color collision is obvious, possessing both a summer atmosphere while retaining the character's own traits, a very smooth shooting experience.
