This photoshoot features a cosplay of the character 'Kagarino Kirie'. I would like to share some specific details from the shooting process. In terms of makeup, the focus was on highlighting the crimson pupils and a cool-toned, fair complexion. For hair, I chose a silver-white long straight wig styled into twin tails and tied with black ribbons. The outfit consisted of a black strap dress accented with a wide white belt and pink flowers at the waist, along with a black bow at the neckline. Underneath, it was paired with garter-style Black stockings, complemented by a red skirt lining/outer layer and high heels with red soles. The set was decorated with a purplish-red tufted velvet sofa, red roses, a gilded birdcage, vintage picture frames, and a warm desk lamp. These props and the overall red-and-black contrast of the outfit resonated beautifully with the character's temperament. Throughout the shoot, poses had to be continuously adjusted to work with the camera. For instance, to accentuate the leg lines, I had to firmly tense and extend my calves; resting on the edge of the sofa in high heels while holding a reclining posture for an extended time was quite challenging, as my legs went numb. At the same time, careful attention was paid to hand placements, such as holding a feather shawl or partially veiling my face. Regarding the lighting, rim backlight was used to illuminate the edges of the wig and highlight the skin texture, enhancing three-dimensional depth in the frame. Given the character's distinct canon setting, the shooting atmosphere leaned toward cold elegance and mystery. In post-processing, the primary focus was adjusting the depth of field to subtly blur the background, making the subject pop while amplifying the dark Vintage Gothic style atmosphere. The tailoring of this costume and the prop arrangement emphasize proportional harmony—especially the combination of garter Black stockings and the red-and-black skirt. Skillfully utilizing the flare of the skirt or the placement of the legs on the sofa during framing significantly elevates the camera presentation. Although the shoot was physically demanding, the final imagery successfully captured the character's aura to my satisfaction, lending this Galgame cosplay work a distinct visual presence. That covers my shoot notes, and I hope everyone can feel this unique mood through the photos.
