The layering in this Arknights: Endfield Endadministrator outfit is extraordinarily rich and well worth a closer look. The innermost base is a high-neck white chunky cable-knit sweater featuring textured diamond patterns across the chest and subtle red accents by the neck zipper. Layered over it is a white hooded vest with bright yellow color-blocking. The outermost piece is a dark gray techwear long trench coat—the true centerpiece of the look—covered in black webbings, drawstrings, and metal hardware. The left cuff features black leather straps paired with a circular yellow insignia, while the shoulder is paneled with black-and-yellow geometric patches and branded blue utility tags, establishing a distinctly hardcore industrial aesthetic. The oversized silver metal carabiner resting across the chest serves as a standout highlight; alongside tiny colorful labels and badges, it brings incredible fullness to the garment's details.
The lower half is paired with Black stockings. Framed beneath the sweeping silhouette of the long trench coat, the subtle reveal of leg contours while walking balances the upper body's visual weight beautifully. On the final day of Hypergryph FES, I walked through all the exhibition booths alongside Honghong. Although this outfit carries considerable physical weight—especially with all the metallic fittings and heavy fabrics making continuous walking quite a test of endurance—getting to interact with so many fellow fans made it a wonderful time. While posing, I experimented with reaching a hand forward, giving a single-handed thumbs-up, crossing my arms over my chest, and lifting one leg in a dynamic ready-to-strike combat stance. That lifted-leg pose actually required core strength to maintain balance, but with the coat being so long, it was the ideal way to showcase the Black stockings underneath, adding depth to the composition while faithfully capturing the character's sharp, cool edge.
During shooting, we made full use of the various sets on-site, from brightly colored geometric backdrops to bamboo grove-inspired scenes. Different lighting bouncing off the white knit sweater and gray trench coat brought out distinct textural nuances. The metallic buckles and nylon webbings caught reflective highlights on camera, truly putting the photographer's lighting control to the test. The trench coat's structured fabric sculpted the shoulder silhouette firmly, while the sweater's knit texture introduced a touch of softening warmth. To ensure the outfit looked clean and crisp, the straps along the back had to be adjusted with every shift in pose. For makeup, I opted for cool-toned contact lenses, deepened my eye contours, and paired blunt bangs with the iconic cross hairpin to capture the character's demeanor as closely as possible.
Being able to connect with so many brilliant cosplayers and admire so much diverse work in person was immensely rewarding. While walking a convention in this outfit definitely challenged my physical stamina—not to mention the time needed to buckle, fasten, and arrange all the cords and hardware—seeing the final recap photos made every bit of effort worth it. I truly look forward to the chance to explore even more exciting cosplays at future conventions.
