This time, I'm sharing the styling showcase for Cartethyia Cosplay and Fleurdelis cosplay from Wuthering Waves (cosplay). We gave substantial consideration to this costume design during the preparation stage. The long straight golden wig required meticulous grooming; once paired with the pointed ear props for that Blonde elf ears look, the character's facial silhouette instantly stood out.
The halo atop the head and the blue star ornaments demanded high structural stability. Using transparent brackets to secure these blue elements was essential to maintain a lightweight, floating appearance before the lens. The golden forehead pendant had to be positioned precisely at the center without obstructing my view.
The outfit is centered around a black, white, and blue palette. The black choker and crisscross chest straps add rich visual depth to the garment while accentuating body contours. The silver embroidery on the white flowing streamers is exceptionally delicate; this fabric produces subtle reflective sheens under indoor lighting, delivering a high-end texture. The bright blue thorn-like accents curving around the chest serve as a major visual highlight of this look—though wearing them required caution to avoid snagging the wig or inner lining, they greatly enhanced the overall three-dimensional dimension.
For makeup, I selected light blue contact lenses to match the canon setting, blending pinkish-purple red gradients around the eye corners and cheeks to soften the overly bright visual punch of the blonde hair, yielding a gentler aura. During indoor mirror selfies, I deliberately adjusted camera angles to inspect accessory placement through the reflection. This perspective requires deliberate posture and body control to properly showcase costume details while maintaining the character's cool, serene demeanor. Throughout the shoot, I continually fine-tuned the waist ties and neck chains to achieve the most upright and comfortable poise. Donning such an intricate costume and prop set was certainly challenging, but it offered a deeper appreciation for the exquisite craftsmanship behind the character's design. Faithfully recreating designs rich in detail is always a rewarding test of styling ability.
