When trying to recreate this default skin look, I found the most difficult part to control was the co-existence of lightness and agility. The design of this outfit is a real test of body shape and motion capture, especially the ultra-long wig styling. During the shoot, a high-power blower combined with multi-angle fill lights was used to ensure the hair had a flowing feel like in the wind. The maple leaf embroidery details on the black cuffs are very exquisite; to restore the texture, post-processing lighting emphasized the rim light along the edges of the clothes.

The handheld oil-paper umbrella is a crucial styling element. The structure of the umbrella ribs when opened and the light-transmitting effect of the paper surface can form a beautiful transition of light and shadow under the overhead lighting, which is also the core of the picture's atmosphere. The ripples on the water surface beneath my feet were not shot live, but were a macro special effect composited in post-production, aiming to add some depth to the originally pure black background.

While conducting this cosplay photography session, I was constantly focused on the expression in my eyes. Because it leans toward a high-definition realistic presentation in a CG style, I not only had to maintain clean facial makeup but also pay attention to the positioning of highlights to prevent the eyes from looking empty. For the pose design, I chose three states: lifting a leg in a dance, looking back over my shoulder, and standing while holding the umbrella. These poses showcase the full view of the costume without looking too stiff. The swirling skirt and ribbons create a beautiful spatial harmony with the floating golden maple leaves.

In fact, this type of styling with strong elemental symbols demands high flexibility and extension of the limbs. During the shooting process, I had to constantly adjust my center of gravity and the holding angle of the umbrella to ensure optimal balance in the lens. A large number of softly glowing lines were added in post-production to simulate a visual sense of dancing in the air, but the prerequisite was that the facial smoothing and texture retention of the original photos had to be done well.

To precisely present the aura this character should have, I spent a lot of time on trimming and styling the wig during early preparations, making sure it looked both fluffy and natural rather than stiff like plastic. This also made me realize that high-quality Chinese-style cosplay and Anime cosplay works are not just a stack of makeup and clothing, but a deep combination of lighting art and character development.
