For this Seiga Kaku cosplay photoshoot, a lot of thought went into the preliminary preparation. The wig is bright blue; to make the fluffiness and hair highlights more obvious in front of the lens, it was specially styled and set. The symmetrical double-loop buns on top of the head and the hanging golden tassels create a great dynamic effect when turning the head. The costume is a blue-and-white color scheme combined with ancient style cosplay elements, with lace and golden embroidered patterns spliced at the neckline and cuffs. The off-shoulder cut makes the overall styling look lighter. In terms of accessories, the wide neckpiece and the floral long necklace in front of the chest are key embellishments, enriching the sense of visual layering.

In terms of makeup, to fit the wicked hermit setting, bright blue contact lenses were worn, eyeshadow was given a heavier red tone to highlight the depth of the gaze, and a fuller red glaze color was chosen for the lips. The ambient light during the shoot was mainly cool blue tones, with blurred red-pink flowers and green leaves in the background. Under this light and shadow, when holding the white porcelain bottle, attention must be paid to controlling the wrist angle to avoid overexposure from reflection, while also displaying the rounded curves of the bottle body. For another photo holding thin string and chain props, the placement of the fingers required extreme care, controlling the tension of the cord to capture that casually intertwined feeling.

Seiga Kaku as a character has a unique cool and ethereal temperament and a sense of mystery, so when facing the lens, I tried not to make overly exaggerated expressions, but instead conveyed that calm state through slightly lowered eyes, gently caressing the collar, or supporting a prop with one hand. During the shooting process, the photographer had an excellent grasp of light and shadow; back-side lighting hitting the hair strands made the blue wig look more translucent. We also tried many compositions, such as using foreground flower bokeh to increase the spatial sense of the frame, or slightly tilting the character to break the dullness of the image.

Every time I do this kind of styling combining tradition and fantasy, I spend a lot of time organizing accessories and confirming costume details. For example, the blue borders and golden patterns of this garment need to be kept flat when worn to reflect the proper texture. The way props are held also needs to fit the character's personality and shouldn't look abrupt. This shoot was indeed a very fulfilling experience; from the makeup test to the official photo output, every step went through careful adjustments, and the final visual effect achieved the expected vision. After organizing these pictures, I feel I have accumulated more experience in shooting this style.
