[Gilberta Cosplay] The Technological Vibe and Fox Tail of Arknights: Endfield

A lot of thought went into the materials and structure of this Gilberta cosplay outfit. The black patent leather and reflective fabrics are paired with metallic buckles and a breastplate, presenting a strong mechanical industrial style. The splicing design at the collar and shoulders adds more layers to the overall look, while the red-and-black long trench coat creates excellent dynamic tension when moving. During the shoot, the photographer specially emphasized the reflection handling on the patent leather surface, allowing the clothing patterns and armor details to be clearly presented. The fur texture of the fox ears and tail also used a matte faux fur intentionally to create a material contrast with the shiny clothing, preventing it from looking too cluttered under the studio's high-intensity lights.

The makeup focused on highlighting the sharpness of the eyeliner, paired with the dark red tone of the eyeshadow, hoping to recreate the character's calm yet slightly playful temperament. Putting on this gear was more complex than expected, especially the mechanical pieces on the arms and the straps around the waist, which required repeated adjustments to achieve symmetry without hindering movement. The height and heel type of the leather boots went through multiple trial fittings to ensure a smooth leg line in both standing and sitting postures.

During the shoot, I tried standing and sitting poses, as well as some technological hand gestures, such as the pose in the picture where I open my arms to display the gear details, or the relaxed moment leaning against the seat back. Every time I do a character with sci-fi and Cyberpunk elements, I pay special attention to the stability of the accessories to prevent them from falling off during the shoot and affecting the outcome. Overall, the coordination from styling to lighting achieved the expected results this time, beautifully expressing the contrast between the character's independent, capable nature and her slight Kemonomimi girl cuteness in front of the lens, making it a very happy experience for me.
