The scene of today's Tsinghua University Club Fair was truly bustling, and this time I cosplayed Zhuang Fangyi. The design layers of this costume are very rich, and putting it on and wearing it definitely requires some patience. This morning, just fixing that mechanical-looking golden breastplate in front of my chest and adjusting the various intertwined straps and buckles on the back took quite a bit of time. Hanging right below the breastplate is a red braided knot, paired with a cyan-blue webbing, making the color contrast very striking.

The wig has a dark, grayish-black base color, with eye-catching red and cyan-blue highlights on both sides. To fit the styling, the bangs on the forehead were trimmed to brow-length, and I used styling spray to give them a slight inward-curled treatment to ensure they wouldn't block my vision while walking outdoors. I wore bright green colored contacts and long, pointy elf ear props, two accessories that really enhance the overall visual completeness. The makeup focused heavily on the eyes, with a large area of pink-toned eyeshadow blended, paired with eyeliner extending the outer corners of the eyes to create a slightly flushed, reddish atmosphere.

For the lower body's armguards, belt, and black gloves, I adjusted the tightness. The golden buckles on the armguards and the cross-patterned hardware on the waist had great texture under the light. Because I was also helping out at the booth of the Tsinghua University Student Racing Culture Association, I had to keep my posture quite upright. Actually, cosplaying a character with such complex equipment is a real test of physical strength during campus activities. Although lightweight EVA props and metal accessories are aesthetic, wearing the full set for a long time still feels a bit stuffy and heavy, especially since wigs are easily messed up by the wind outdoors. However, whenever passing students or fellow enthusiasts recognized the character and even stopped to ask for a photo, that fatigue would lighten a lot.

Today, I also happened to help with recruitment at the Next-Gen Anime Club booth, exchanging some thoughts on cosplay prop making and makeup experience with everyone. For instance, when dealing with belts featuring complex buckles, you can stick a little anti-slip sticker on the inside to prevent the clothes from shifting while walking. The atmosphere of the Club Fair is full of vitality, with various clubs putting in great effort to showcase themselves. Over at the Racing Culture Association, besides hardcore racing models and mechanical displays, it could also spark different kinds of chemistry with the neighboring ACG culture. Being able to gather with so many schoolmates who love different things is a very happy thing. The outdoor wind was a bit strong today, so I also took the opportunity to test the shooting effect of this styling under natural light, accumulating good outdoor shooting experience for future conventions.
