This shoot explores a secretary-themed Headcanon / Original setting for Cantarella from Wuthering Waves. The original character carries a mysterious, aloof aura, and I spent a long time brainstorming what visual aesthetic would emerge if she were placed in a modern corporate setting. After much thought, I chose a classic white shirt and black skirt as the foundation for the entire look.

Fabric choice was critical. For the white shirt, I selected an opaque fabric with a fluid drape, retaining a crisp tailored collar while rolling up the cuffs to introduce an effortless touch of daily office life. A slim black necktie was loosely knotted around the collar, breaking away from the rigidity of formal business wear. For the lower half, a high-waisted black pencil skirt hugged the body's natural contours. To elongate the leg lines, I wore sheer Black stockings. The denier struck the perfect balance—neither too opaque nor too thin—allowing a hint of natural skin tone to glow through under the lights, paired with glossy black stilettos that gave my posture an upright lift. The employee ID badge lanyard around my neck was the crowning touch; with it, this secretary concept truly came alive rather than feeling like a generic Workplace uniform.

Styling the wig took careful attention. The long lavender hair had to be combed thoroughly smooth, and I gave the tips an icy-blue gradient finish. To complement the crimson eyes, makeup leaned into a deeper red lip and enhanced eye contours, projecting an imposing presence on camera. Studio lighting was kept bright and even, preserving the lustrous sheen of the synthetic hair and the sheer texture of the hosiery to the fullest.

The two compositions focused on distinct moods and settings. The first featured a vintage dark-green leather sofa, where the wooden armrests added a composed, grounded tone. Sitting sideways with legs crossed, resting one hand along the backrest, and glancing back over my shoulder toward the lens allowed my silhouette and leg lines to extend gracefully, contrasting the structured leather against the soft hosiery. The second switched to a black office chair with a more poised posture and nuanced hand placements, evoking a brief pause from desk work that leaned closer to daily office life.

The finished photos achieved exactly what I envisioned. The beauty of an original setting lies in applying plausible imagination atop canon lore, grounding the character within a fresh narrative context. Deconstructing and reassembling wardrobe pieces, anchored by the right props, makes the character feel authentic in a real-world setting. The session went smoothly, continually fine-tuning styling and lighting down to the last detail. Bringing out that sharp, capable presence tinged with distant mystique made this shoot a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
