Today I came to shoot Krithia cosplay, and this outfit certainly took quite a bit of effort in terms of details. Starting with the wig, the long pink hair was specifically styled into double buns; that signature ahoge on top of the head required a generous amount of hairspray to stay firmly in place, and the golden star hair ornaments on both sides were reinforced to prevent any wobbling during the shoot. For the makeup to match the character, I wore bright blue contact lenses and kept the eye makeup on the cleaner, more translucent side to emphasize that tsundere yet adorable princess aura.

The layering of the costume is remarkably distinct. The white top is paired with a lake blue cape, with golden lines outlining both the lining and edges, and the two large bells at the bottom carry solid weight, jingling crisply with every step. The white fur collar around the neckline coupled with the lake blue gemstone bow adds visual nobility. The sleeves are orange flared sleeves that make the wrists appear slender. The waist design is quite unique with diamond-shaped white patchwork, beneath which sits a champagne-gold petal-shaped hem layered over a brown pleated skirt, lending the overall look great dimension. On my feet, these brown mid-calf boots feature white folded cuffs and golden ribbon decorations, providing great stability while walking.

To align with the concept of "This princess's time is very precious," my pose design mainly aimed to project the character's confidence and pride. Crossing my arms over my chest beautifully showcases the drape of the cape, and with a slightly raised chin, that tsundere vibe immediately emerges. The poses in the photos holding up the glowing orb and resting both hands on my hips also convey the character's posture when casting magic or issuing commands.

To complement the shoot, several small props were specially prepared. That golden openwork sphere with an orange-yellow lighting unit inside feels full of magic when held in hand. The pet companion models beside me are also very delicate—a grey-white winged sphere, a little green fellow wearing a hat, and a blue-and-orange octopus; their presence brings an extra touch of fantasy color to the entire composition. The shoot chose a pure white background with even lighting, maximizing the fidelity of the costume's original colors so post-processing didn't need complicated color grading beyond brightening skin tones.

Toward the latter half of the shoot, the heavy skirts and wig did feel somewhat weighty, but slipping into that arms-crossed pose instantly brought my energy back. In fact, when shooting fantasy-style costumes, maintaining garment silhouette requires the most attention. That petal-shaped skirt easily loses its shape when sitting or turning around, so between takes I frequently had to smooth it out by hand to ensure every frame captured a flawless flared shape. The cape length is also tricky—a slight step could drag it across the floor, so movement range had to be controlled just right to appear dynamic without dirtying the cape.

Additionally, the prop sphere in hand has considerable heft, so to present an effortless levitating hold, my arm muscles remained constantly engaged. During photos, eye coordination was crucial; those bright blue contact lenses looked exceptionally vivid under the studio lights, and paired with a slightly angled face, the jawline stood out much more sharply. The equipment used for this shoot was a standard DSLR paired with continuous studio lights and strobes. Retouching preserved the fabric's authentic textures without excessive skin smoothing, striving to keep the frame true to anime aesthetics while showcasing the authentic fabric weave.

All in all, I'm personally very satisfied with the restoration of the costume and props, and I hope everyone can feel this character's unique charm through the photos. Although the entire shoot was somewhat physically demanding, seeing the final results made all the prep work and on-site adjustments completely worthwhile.
