Here is the photoshoot sharing for this Children's Day themed Aemeath Cosplay. To prioritize fidelity to the character's design, we chose a pure white backdrop for this studio shoot. The white fur-collared jacket, combined with puffed sleeves in a purple crackle texture and a black diamond-check mini skirt, created a clean and refreshing color palette. As a Children's Day theme, the barefoot styling and the plush black cat in hand, alongside holding the microphone prop, added a playful and innocent charm to the overall frame.
During the shoot, utilizing props made posing much easier, and holding the black cat felt wonderfully soft. I discussed composition and lighting extensively with photographer Shimoe Koharu; lighting against a white background required careful highlight control to ensure a translucent skin tone, especially bringing out the delicacy of the little white wing hair accessories on the Pink Twintails under the light. The pose in Photo 2 with the microphone and hands on hips was designed to showcase the cut and lines of the skirt hem. While the floor was a bit chilly for barefoot shooting, the resulting photos captured the lively energy of this Pink-haired girl.
The costume's details were crafted with great care—the golden chain charms on the outfit and the purple textures on the cuffs were executed flawlessly. Holding the pose in Photo 4 sitting on the chair with one hand resting against the cheek for several minutes before the camera was slightly tiring, but the photographer captured the exact right moment. The overall shooting ambiance was relaxed, like stepping into a fairy tale on Children's Day. For this slightly "moe"-styled cosplay, post-processing preserved genuine skin texture as much as possible. With this faithful character restoration successfully completed, I look forward to exploring even more diverse cosplay styles in the future.
