Krithia's styling from Roco Kingdom Mobile S3 new season has finally debuted at the Xi'an Dreamland Comic Convention. The venue space of this comic convention is very open, and the steel frame structure at the top brings a hardcore industrial feel. Combined with this fantasy-colored costume, the visual contrast is extremely strong. The color scheme of this outfit is mainly white, gold, and brown, and the most eye-catching part is the lake-blue long cape. The edges of the cape feature golden piping, and two golden bells dangle at the ends. To make the cape look flowy even in static photos, I constantly tried different walking paths and turning amplitudes during the shoot. The cape material is relatively lightweight; as long as you slightly control the swinging angle, you can capture a very natural dynamic effect. Regarding the wig, I styled it into a high ponytail, coupled with golden headwear, trying my best to restore the character's energetic vibe.
The props used in this shoot are extremely eye-catching, which is this huge Yajiji plush toy I'm straddling. It has a full sense of volume and its surface is extremely soft. Sitting on it actually requires special core muscle control; if you don't straighten your back, you easily sink in, making the posture less upright. To match Yajiji's slightly serious expression, I also tried to maintain a confident and bold expression in front of the lens, with one hand supporting its head and the other pointing forward. In addition, the floating pink Emoding in mid-air is also an important element in the frame. To make it present a floating state, an assistant was needed nearby during the shoot to coordinate angle adjustments and throwing timing, ensuring the captured moment looks vivid and interesting rather than rigid.
The atmosphere at the Xi'an Dreamland Comic Convention was great. Although the crowd was dense, we still found an area inside the venue with even lighting and excellent reflection effects. The reflection on the smooth floor added a lot of clarity to the overall frame. The photographer is very experienced in capturing dynamics, especially the moment when I pointed at Emoding while the cape billowed in the wind—the effect captured the instant the shutter was clicked was ideal. To perfectly restore Krithia's styling, I did a lot of homework on costume details, such as the fixing method of the golden shoulder armor and the position of the belt, ensuring it wouldn't look loose or sloppy when walking around the convention.
Walking around the convention wearing this gear is actually not easy, especially those brown strapped boots; although they look good, wearing them for a long time requires a certain adaptation process. However, being able to vividly present the game character in a real comic convention and share this joy with so many friends who love anime made the whole process feel very fulfilling and interesting. This set of convention photos not only recorded the characteristics of the character but also retained that unique passion and vitality of the convention scene.
