Today at Xi'an Dreamland Comic Convention, I cosplayed the Wonderful holiday look of Cyrene from Honkai: Star Rail. To honor the design, I chose a pink-to-white gradient wig, intentionally braiding two slender plaits along the ears beside blunt pink bangs so the braids swayed with every step. Because the character features pointed ears, wearing the custom elf ear prosthetics pinched a bit, but enduring it was essential for the complete look. I went with blue-purple colored contacts, offering a nice visual contrast against the pink hair. The makeup focused on under-eye blush and glossy lip glaze, aiming for a bright, bubbly glow.

Outfit-wise, a white cropped tank top was layered over bright pink shoulder straps, with a heart-shaped pendant filling the collar space. The jacket is a translucent, loose-fitting piece featuring a holographic reflective sheen and puff sleeves, refracting iridescent colors under outdoor sunlight and indoor venue lighting alike. For the bottom, I paired a gray pleated mini skirt with a paisley-patterned wide belt and dangling metallic chains to inject a touch of techwear edge. On my feet, white platform sneakers paired with slouch socks allowed me to walk the convention floor all day without feeling exhausted. The overall outfit wasn't overly bulky, yet it was packed with subtle nuances.

The pink-and-white plush doll in my arms served as a vital prop; holding it made my posing feel far more effortless and relaxed. To heighten interaction, I carried a pink lollipop, which brought lively charm whether held casually or placed beside my lips.

The shooting process was an absolute blast. Teacher Yang is brilliant at capturing light and shadow; outdoors, we used reflections from architectural glass curtain walls to compose mirror-like frames, adjusting our stance several times before the pane to secure clean angles free of clutter. Indoors, against the expansive steel truss structure and cool-toned illumination, the raw captures already possessed wonderful clarity and translucence.

My personal take on Cyrene's Wonderful holiday look is that it embodies lightness and playful vitality without heavy burdens. The convention was bustling with huge crowds; wandering through the halls in this outfit, greeting fellow fans, and taking stamp photos was fantastic. Though I had to touch up makeup several times and constantly keep the belt from slipping to keep everything pristine, Anime cosplay is naturally a process of bittersweet devotion. Reviewing the memories captured in the camera made the day's fatigue entirely worthwhile. This effortless, vibrant energy is exactly what I wanted to express through these photos.
