[Ram cosplay] The Daily Life of the Roswaal Mansion Maid

This time, I'm bringing you a cosplay of Ram, the maid of the Roswaal Mansion from Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. To recreate this sharp-tongued yet reliable older twin sister, I specially emphasized the character's eye features in the makeup, capturing that confident and slightly tsundere expression through eyeliner and colored contacts. The pink short hair used a custom wig, and the curvature of the bangs, as well as the iconic blue hair accessory and ribbon, were adjusted multiple times to strive for that unique lightness of the character even in static photos.

There are so many details in this Maid outfit—the black and white long dress, the layered ruffled apron, and the structure of the cuffs and collar, every single part needs meticulous grooming. To reflect Ram's crisp and efficient aura, we chose some poses like standing while lifting the skirt and sitting upright during the shoot. At the shooting scene, I paid special attention to the layered folds of the skirt hem and the draping effect of the blue waist ribbon on the back, so that the entire styling would look more three-dimensional and full in front of the lens. Of course, the white stockings at the bottom were also carefully coordinated to avoid looking too monotonous.

As you can tell from the background environment in the photos, this shoot utilized an indoor scene with European vintage floral wallpaper and a red leather sofa. This environment fits perfectly with the gorgeous atmosphere of the Roswaal Mansion, allowing the character to integrate much better. Actually, the hardest part to grasp about Ram is not the outfit, but her outer-cold-inner-warm personality traits. Therefore, in front of the lens, I tried to maintain a relaxed yet slightly scrutinizing expression.
