[Ishtar Cosplay] Love and War, All Originate from Me! Fate/Grand Order Convention Record

"Love and War, All Originate from Me." This line, full of a goddess's pride and aura, was something I kept reciting silently in my mind while taking these Fate/Grand Order convention photos. I chose to do this Ishtar Cosplay purely because I love her uninhibited flamboyance and the unique charm woven between divinity and tsundere traits.

The shooting environment at this convention was wonderful. The huge lattice window behind me brought in ample natural light, and the reflective texture of the floor added a hazy, epic atmosphere to the photos. I specifically chose two completely different stances at the venue to present her—one was a highly dynamic single-leg stand pointing ahead, capturing the character's commanding battle posture that looks down upon all living beings; the other was an elegant and casual pose, sitting on her haunches with a slight smile, striving to showcase the composure the goddess occasionally reveals.

Speaking of the styling this time, what satisfied me the most was the asymmetrical design aesthetic. The dark blue asymmetrical stockings on the left leg combined with golden geometric patterns were extremely eye-catching under the venue light. The high-slit skirt allowed lines to be subtly revealed, creating strong visual tension. The combination of white and gold on the upper body, along with detailed decorations on the collar and belt, matched with the crown on my head, preserved the sacred feel of a mythical priestess while giving off the aura of a war goddess commanding thousands of troops. The shoes featured transparent block heels and lace-up straps, supporting these challenging poses while making the overall outfit look visually lighter.

Regarding makeup and hair, to make my appearance closer to the character's transparent purity, I used earth tones and ruby accents for the eye makeup, paired with exquisite contact lenses, retaining the eyes' radiance without being overly heavy. The hair featured straight bangs and long side locks, accompanied by black bows on both sides, adding a touch of agility to the high-and-mighty goddess. The crown headpiece was the soul of the outfit; to ensure it wouldn't shift during large movements, I adjusted the fastening clips back and forth multiple times on site—it was truly painful yet joyful.

Meeting so many excellent photographers at the convention, I especially want to thank everyone for tolerating me repeatedly trying to find the best angle. In fact, to do a good anime cosplay at a convention, besides restoring the props and costumes as much as possible, the most important thing is to express the confidence and emotion that fit the character setting in front of the lens. I tried to convey that bit of pride and scrutinizing gaze through my fingertips and slightly raised neck at the moment the frame froze. I hope these convention photos convey my love for the character setting itself and the true joy cosplay brings me.
