[Priestess cosplay] Arknights: Cool-Toned White Lab Coat Cosplay sharing

This photo set of Priestess cosplay from Arknights was shot in a cool-toned sci-fi medical studio, where handling the costume fabrics and styling details took quite a bit of effort. The lapel curvature of the white lab coat is very crisp and structured, requiring several angle adjustments to project this commanding presence, styled underneath with standard Black stockings and a pleated skirt. Because the overall setting is laboratory-themed, to highlight a cool and aloof effect, the makeup sheen was deliberately controlled during application, and I kept my gaze fixed steadily on the camera, working with the overhead cool light to sculpt dramatic shadows. Wearing Black stockings with platform shoes left my calves a bit sore after standing for a long time. Positioning and securing the headband also took a while so it wouldn't obstruct any line of sight.

I usually pay close attention to shooting techniques for sci-fi themes; this Sci-fi uniform features many spliced translucent elements in its design, making reflection management a real challenge during shooting. The studio's black metallic walls, along with cables and monitors scattered across the floor, formed the cool-toned backdrop. However, we were quite relaxed while shooting, joking that this outfit looked so much like heading into an important experiment that no matter how hot it got, I didn't dare unbutton the collar.

A few minor hiccups occurred during the shoot—for example, the translucent sleeves easily caught on the lighting cables, taking a while to sort out. Yet this immersive experience is an essential part of getting the shot. I read the story in the lore post and deeply relate to those memories and regrets in the game; although as a cosplayer my focus was mainly on capturing her cool allure, reading those reflections helped me naturally channel contemplation and detachment into my poses, perfectly matching the theme's cool aesthetic.

Overall, this was a photoshoot experience dedicated to recreating a crisp, cool sci-fi atmosphere. Wearing the outfit for hours was quite warm, but pairing Black stockings with the pleated skirt gave great visual depth. I'm very satisfied with this set of works and its high level of completion, thankful to everyone who helped wrangle costumes and props that day to make the final texture feel truly cool, sharp, and professional.
