For this Prinz Eugen Bunny girl look from Azur Lane, the most painstaking aspect was balancing the garment material with lighting. The entire piece is crafted from black patent leather—a unique fabric with intense specular reflections where improper ambient lighting would instantly smear the garment's contours into an indistinct silhouette, prompting us to spend considerable time fine-tuning strobe positions on set. The cut is tightly contoured with a plunging neckline inset with white embroidered lace, accented by an oversized glossy black bow tie around the collar. This sharp monochrome contrast stood out vividly against the deep crimson velvet backdrop. The detached white sleeves bordered with black trim echoed the overarching black-and-white theme, while the white ruffled lace tracing the hem created a playful tactile clash against the glossy black bodice.

For the wig, I styled long silver-white twin tails, being mindful to preserve root volume rather than letting it sit flat against the scalp to ensure dimensional layering on camera. The deep crimson backdrop paired with black patent leather effortlessly forged a moody low-key aesthetic. The second shot is a personal favorite: reclining diagonally along the sofa edge with one leg extended forward, where the diagonal composition naturally stretches visual proportions. Sustaining that pose required pointing my toes firmly and quietly engaging my core, which was physically taxing. Leaning into the sofa's armrests and back allowed the pose to look languid without appearing slack. Between takes, I checked the monitor to align with the photographer on which angles best accentuated the fabric sheen and contours.

Though this shoot was demanding—with the constrictive fit of the outfit and balancing on high heels testing endurance—the final interplay of light and texture made every bit of effort worthwhile.
