This time for Usada Pekora at the ijoy Anime convention, the overall styling and wardrobe pairing had been prepared for a long time in advance. The wig is a light blue short cut with trimmed blunt bangs, and was styled accordingly to make the crown look fuller. The hair accessories include a white rabbit-ear headband, white lace ornaments with blue flowers, and a black ribbon, all details designed to authentically capture the character's traits. For the outfit, I chose a fluffy white off-the-shoulder top, where the wide sleeves and lace ruffles at the hem added rich layering. The garment features fine black drawstrings forming a crisscross design on the back. The lower half features black shorts paired with semi-sheer Black stockings edged with white stripes, with the overall color scheme dominated by white, black, and blue, accented with touches of pink.

The environment at the Anime convention site was quite noisy, set against industrial-style steel frames, glaring overhead lights, and a somewhat rough concrete floor. To ensure optimal shooting results, I found a white cylindrical photography stage as a support point. The first set of poses involved standing with my back to the camera, turning my body slightly sideways to look back at the lens. Both hands held the hem of the white jacket behind my back, giving the skirt a flowing, dynamic flutter. This posture genuinely tests core waist strength; capturing the fleeting moment of the skirt flying required constant adjustments of angles and force, while also keeping facial expressions natural and avoiding stiffness caused by straining the waist.

The second set of poses involved sitting on the cylindrical stage with crossed legs and toes touching the ground. My hands were clenched into fists and crossed near my chin and chest, with my torso leaning forward slightly. This posture is quite cute and docile, effectively showcasing the front black drawstring details of the outfit. Under soft lighting, facial makeup and the white clothing sat in highlight zones, forming a strong contrast with the dark background. During the shoot, the photographer instructed me to look slightly downward into the lens, which better highlighted the nuances of my gaze and eye makeup.

As a coser, every photo release is a brand new challenge. From costume styling and wig shaping to improvisational performance at the Anime convention site, every single step demands serious dedication. This Usada Pekora styling not only delivers a powerful visual impact, but also deepened my understanding of the character throughout the shooting process. Although standing for long periods in an exhibition hall with inadequate air conditioning while wearing over-the-knee socks and an off-the-shoulder outfit was physically exhausting, seeing the final finished photos made every drop of effort completely worthwhile. I hope this sharing offers some helpful references for friends who also love 2D and cosplay, helping them find inspiration suited to themselves, whether in costume selection or photo-taking poses.
