I shot this set of Japanese home-style photos for Firefly, choosing a corner by the window filled with plush toys where the light spilled softly through the white lace curtains. The white hair with blue-green gradient curls is paired with a sailor suit and a plaid pleated skirt, accented by a blue-green bowknot and a golden badge, delivering a very clean and fresh school vibe. During the shoot, I tried poses like stretching, holding a colorful bouquet, resting my chin on my hands while looking at the camera, and leaning against a big bear plushie to look back, hoping to bring more natural daily interactions into the frame. The teddy bear prop is the core of this set; holding it in my arms or having it sit next to me makes the whole composition look softer. Although this JK uniform style is not complex, it has high requirements for light and expression—the moment the sunlight hit the hair strands and the skirt hem, that translucent feel came out instantly. Despite being an indoor studio setup, the atmosphere created was very close to a daily room feel, making the entire shooting process very relaxing.
