Today's vintage little detective-themed Lolita shoot aims to record a British retro yet playful vibe. The location was set in a wooden study filled with old books and leather suitcases, where the warm-toned lighting fits this dark brown palette perfectly, enhancing the overall atmospheric feel.

The core foundation of this outfit relies on dark coffee-colored plaid elements. The short plaid cape on top features a sleek design, layered over a white shirt with a ruffled collar and delicate lotus-leaf sleeves, tied with a black ribbon bow at the neckline for an instant touch of genteel retro-literary style. Below is a multi-layered cake skirt, paired with coffee-colored calf socks and black round-toe buckle Mary Jane shoes; the overall ensemble looks like a character stepping out of a classic detective novel. During the shoot, I focused on naturally expressing a detective's sense of "exploration." Although holding props like a magnifying glass, I didn't want the poses to feel forced. This allowed the skirt and cape to form natural pleats and folds while showcasing the length of the calf socks and leg lines, creating a more lively visual effect.
