I shot this outdoor set for Maomao from The Apothecary Diaries and am sharing a quick report directly from the camera screen for you to see the on-site effect. I didn't wear full makeup for this cosplay, just eyelid tape and lip balm, because Maomao isn't the type to wear heavy makeup, and I feel this is closer to the original design. I specifically added heavy freckles, but they don't look very obvious on the camera screen, so I'll definitely strengthen them during post-editing. The wig is from Qing_, and the hair color and iconic cat-ear style are very accurate. The green Han-style clothing also fits the setting of The Apothecary Diaries. The shoot took place in a bamboo forest and an ancient-style corridor, creating a perfect atmosphere fitting for scenes of Maomao's daily activities. The photographer, British Witch, snapped photos very quickly; whether I was reading, pondering, or making a slightly surprised/panicked expression, she captured the emotions perfectly. The equipment used was a Sony mirrorless camera, mainly recording in RAW format, aperture F2.8, ISO fluctuating between 160 and 800 depending on different lighting environments, with shutter speed adjusted accordingly. Doing cosplay with a natural look was a completely new attempt for me. Although some details might not be so clear in the original footage, the overall feeling is very spot-on. This relaxed state of not having to deliberately sculpt the face made the character's natural silliness and sharpness even more vivid.
