Shooting this set of Genshin Impact Columbina Cosplay photos actually involved many detailed considerations. Although she has only made brief appearances, the preparation process for this look was extensive—from trimming the wig and adding red gradient highlights to pairing ice-blue contact lenses, all aiming to get as close as possible to the character's cool, aloof, and mysterious aura. In particular, for the eye makeup, I applied a generous blue base and blended red around the outer corners and lower lash line to harmonize with the red tips of the hair, making the overall makeup cohesive. On the day of the shoot, we chose a spacious indoor venue where cool-toned lighting reflected off the polished floor, perfectly matching the extensive sheer tulle of the costume and producing a wonderfully translucent texture.

A special mention must be made of the large wing props on my back. The material looks light and sheer, but the inner frame carries considerable weight. By the time we reached the final two sets of poses, my stamina was genuinely wearing thin; yet precisely because of this, a natural exhaustion emerged, which actually accentuated the character's sense of powerlessness and longing to confide. The photographer @WIFI continuously guided my angles, helping me find that slightly upward yet hollow, detached gaze. The layered sheer fabric and leg ribbon straps were difficult to manage, easily catching while walking, but to faithfully recreate the image of this Genshin Impact Ethereal girl, I double-checked every single detail during dressing.

In the end, a kneeling pose was chosen as my favorite shot of the day. This angle best showcased the graceful drape of the dress and the slender lines of the legs, while slightly bowing my head and gazing into the lens captured an intensely solitary and fragile feeling. For one's favorite character, every shoot is a process of re-interpreting and understanding them anew. Through this photo, I hope to present a more multi-dimensional and emotionally resonant Columbina to friends, rather than just staying on the surface of cuteness or grandeur. Before shooting, I consulted extensive reference materials, striving to recreate the iconic crescent moon ornament on the chest. Packing up props after wrapping up that day, my shoulders were so sore I could barely lift them, but seeing the final images made everything worthwhile.
