The planning for the entire shoot began with locking in two starkly contrasting color schemes: pink and black. The pink look is a combination of lace trim and white fishnet tights; the texture of white mesh is very demanding on lighting and requires generous soft fill light. In this pose, weight was placed on the left shoulder while the other hand propped against the wall, with my center of gravity fully loaded onto one leg. Fortunately, the finished shot managed to recreate that somewhat airy and casual 'Platonic' vibe. The challenge of the black look lay in the belt and tall boots of the black police uniform. When shooting midriff-baring outfits, close attention must be paid to abdominal posture; when wearing black fishnet tights, the instep must be flexed tightly to create contrast using the luster of the black tall boots themselves. For makeup, the first half featured sweeter eyeshadow, while the second half switched to winged eyeliner paired with deep red lip color, both tailored to complement the visual focus of each outfit. The wig was voluminous bright yellow, and tilting my head slightly would cover half my face, so tidying the wig took even longer than the actual shooting. This wall-leaning standing pose is actually exhausting; you have to keep body curves straight while appearing completely effortless, keeping both thigh and calf muscles engaged throughout. Post-processing faithfully restored the already fitting palette—the pink and blue background harmonized with both styles, preserving the clean look of the white platform shoes and the edgy punch of the black platforms. The mesh of the fishnets was kept sharp without excessive skin smoothing, resulting in a much better leg texture. As an Original setting shoot, presenting the character's languid ease and bold flair through two distinct looks took careful lighting setup on set. The pink outfit mainly used rim lighting from a backlight angle to make the lace's translucency pop; the blue set added dedicated specular highlights to the black fishnets and boots. Post-processing focused on restoring the light and shadow nuances that both colors cast onto the skin without unnecessary warping. The white fishnets required careful handling of folds around the knees, as perfectly straight legs would lose that soft feel; the black fishnets emphasized the diagonal flow of the boots and mesh to elongate leg proportions. The core of this styling was maintaining softness in the eye makeup and blush so intense makeup wouldn't overpower costume details. The white platforms and black high-heeled boots paired with both looks put heavy pressure on the feet, making standing shaky when changing sets, requiring support from the backdrop board—leaning sideways like that actually helped stabilize the body. The outfits were curated by myself; since the character inherently embodies an unconstrained, wild charm, I set no limits on clothing styles or poses—lying down or standing however I pleased made this freestyle creative process genuinely fun.
