[Robin cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Blue Hour Photoshoot Record at Foshan CPG

The photos for this Robin cosplay Headcanon / Original setting at Foshan CPG 08 are finally sorted out. This shoot was mainly split between two settings: the indoor plaza and the outdoor street. Indoors, right by the massive cosplay photography area standee, the light green background accentuated the purple-pink hues of the dress nicely; however, the daytime ambient light was somewhat flat, requiring a reflector to fill in facial light. After wrapping up indoors, we quickly moved outside to catch the Blue Hour as dusk fell. The street was lined with streetlights; shooting backlit allowed the street lamps to pierce through the tulle and feather props, casting a gorgeous rim light. The material of this custom design costume was a real challenge—the lightweight tulle skirt and intricate feathered wings easily tangled during posing, requiring the assistant's help to smooth out the skirt with every turn. The wig's purple-pink-blue gradient appeared rich and vibrant under nighttime lighting, pairing with colored contacts and false eyelashes for stunning shots. The staff in my hand was adorned with pearls and seashells, its metallic chains glinting under the lights to add delicate refinement. The white platform shoes I wore were fairly heavy, yet surprisingly comfortable for standing long periods. Given the weight of the overall styling and the long skirt train, walking back and forth on the street while lifting the skirt took quite a bit of physical stamina. Fortunately, the weather was great, with warm and cool evening tones blending to create the intended dreamy mood. During post-processing, we focused on enhancing the translucency of the feathers while darkening the background road to make the subject stand out. Overall, this Headcanon / Original setting of Robin from Honkai: Star Rail delivered exactly the ambiance I envisioned. As night fell completely, the warm glow of street lamps intermingled with the twilight blue, creating the most satisfying set of photos from this shoot. Packing up the gear for the late-night trip home, though exhausted, reviewing the raw shots in the camera made every adjustment and wait feel totally worthwhile.
