Today I shot this set of Mitsuri Kanroji's Headcanon cosplay main photos in Xiamen, aiming to present a forest fairytale style overall. To match this theme, I chose a pink-green gradient style for the wig, and added some yellow-green highlights in the braids to make the hairstyle's layering richer. In terms of makeup, it was matched with green contact lenses, and the eyeshadow used peach and earth tones, trying to keep the makeup look clear and translucent.

In terms of clothing, it didn't completely replicate the original uniform, but instead used a large amount of lace and tulle materials, with a light pink inner wear paired with an off-white outer cover, and the skirt hem made into a fluffy bloomers style. To echo the floral elements, vines and a few pink-and-blue alternating small flowers were hand-sewn on the side of the waist. The lower body was matched with White stockings and white shoes, wearing a black slouchy hat on the head, hoping to bring out a bit of a witch's casual atmosphere.

The shooting location was a park in Xiamen, where the large lawn and thick dead tree roots just matched the natural feel of this outfit. The sunlight on the shooting day was very sufficient, and the action of lying sideways on the tree roots actually tested core strength quite a bit. To showcase the layering of the skirt and the texture of the White stockings, it was necessary to maintain balance while adjusting the leg angles. Because White stockings are prone to reflection under strong light, the photographer cooperated by using a soft light cloth to reduce gloss, making the picture texture more delicate. The bouquet I held in my hand was also tied by myself with green leaves and flowers, echoing the decorations on the clothes.

Doing a Headcanon is a re-creation incorporating personal aesthetics for me. Because I really love her lively and vibrant traits, I adjusted the clothing material and hairstyle. Mentioning an apology for the Headcanon is also hoping that friends who like the original setting can tolerate this attempt. There were many people walking in the park during the shoot, and occasionally a breeze blew by, so capturing the moment when the skirt fluttered was very smooth. Although lifting the skirt to change locations was tiring, and I had to constantly make sure the hat didn't fall off, seeing the light, shadow, and color restoration of the final photos made me feel that this location shoot in Xiamen was totally worth it. For post-processing color grading, I requested to retain the vitality of the greenery, slightly darken the highlights, and focus on highlighting the contrast between the pink and green colors. This shoot made many attempts in action design and light-and-shadow coordination, and the combination of White stockings and a lace dress also gave the character an extra sense of softness. Being able to complete the shooting of this Headcanon set in this environment was a very satisfying location shooting experience.
