Step into this carefully staged Christmas display window to bring Blue Archive's Serina to life in her holiday look. The visual focal point of this ensemble is the red-and-white plush coat—holiday Christmas red trimmed with generous white faux-fur edging echoes the festive warmth while preserving the character's signature gentle nature. To match the winter setting, I chose black tights for this Black tights outfit, which kept me warm while elongating leg lines, creating a classic color contrast with the white platform high-top ankle boots.
During the shoot, we specifically selected an authentic glass display window, using corner cool LED lighting to define facial contours, allowing the pink wig to exhibit a delicate luster in dim light. Accents of black ribbons and metal buckles on the hat added refinement amidst the expansive red and white palette. The small white plush doll in my arms, wearing a knitted mini Santa hat, served as a subtle complementary detail, adding playful coziness to the overall ensemble. The stacked Christmas gift boxes, Christmas tree, and frost effects on the floor collectively built a serene, cozy winter corner.
In terms of framing techniques, we combined wide-angle shots with close-ups. Close-up shots nicely captured the texture of the black tights and the fluffiness of the costume trims while eliminating distracting background elements. This costume actually involves many accessories—the red neck warmer, braided knots on the chest, gloves, and boots—each requiring careful adjustments for optimal proportion. In particular, the plush fur on the boots and the coat collar needed to echo each other, creating a visually cozy wrapped-in-warmth effect. Shooting in winter, especially in front of a chilly showcase, made the ambient temperature quite cold; however, enduring the chill was necessary to convey the character's serene composure in the cold air. Characters with pink hair typically appear vibrant against red outfits, but under the cool-white showcase lights, it formed a porcelain doll-like tranquility. Straightening the wig to prevent flyaways and adjusting skirt folds so I could sit naturally on the floor were small details that tested patience more than posing. Rather than complex poses, I chose natural sitting postures and crossed leg lines to convey a quiet Christmas Atmosphere, drawing viewers' eyes to facial contours and the complete outfit without excessive motion breaking this aesthetic serenity. I hope these photos allow everyone to feel that special gentleness and sense of occasion during the winter Christmas season.
