This time at the Firefly ACG Expo, I finally brought out this Shirasu Azusa outfit. From styling the wig to adjusting the wing attachment points at the very beginning, a lot of time went into the preparations before and after. The silver-gray long hair paired with the half-moon-shaped glowing halo looks highly refreshing visually. The costume is a white top with a sailor collar design paired with a black pinafore dress. The silver ruffles on the skirt hem form a sharp contrast with the black fabric. For a convention environment with mixed live lighting like this, the black-and-white color scheme indeed does not show dirt easily, and the final photo quality looks very clean. The biggest highlight of this costume is definitely the two white feathered wings on the back, decorated with yellow ribbons and purple flower ornaments, which add a rich sense of layering. The weather wasn't actually great during the shoot, and the light was quite dim, but the night view lighting of the exterior location actually made the fluorescent effect of the halo stand out even more. The pose of lifting the skirt hem in the first photo easily displays the structure and layers of the dress, but the angle in the second one—with both hands raised to let the wings fully spread out—creates a fuller composition. The character's position in the frame is more centered, which feels visually more balanced. Shirasu Azusa's character setting in Blue Archive carries a sense of quietness and persistence, so I didn't intentionally make large facial expressions, trying my best to maintain a soft and focused feeling. The ruffles on the skirt hem and the buckle details on the shoes are all reflected in the photos, and the overall effect turned out lighter than imagined. Because this gear has many trivial parts, to maintain my condition during the grassy exterior shoot, I did a lot of anti-slip and fastening treatments in advance. Looking at it now, after cleaning up the stray background lights in post-processing and making the light-to-dark transitions of the skirt folds look natural, this set of photos should have more room for further post-production work. While browsing around the booth area, I also received a lot of appreciation from fellow fans. I feel that after reorganizing the props, I can keep shooting this look.
