[Izuna cosplay] The Little Fox in Blue Archive: Snipers Can Be Cute Too

This time, the details of Izuna have finally been perfectly recreated. The animal ears on top of my head utilize 3D draping and flocking techniques. Combined with her iconic pink halo, I instantly found the character's state as soon as I put them on. The most elaborate part of the costume is that pink Japanese-style outerwear. I specially chose a fabric with a subtle cherry blossom pattern, paired with a dark blue sailor collar and a bright yellow obi belt. The overall color contrast is lively without being jarring. The sniper rifle prop in my hands was custom-made. The pink paint job and decals on the gun body recreate the texture from the game, making me feel like I’ve truly transformed into that little fox who loves to hide in the shadows and take aim.

During the shoot, we chose a wooden bench in a Japanese-style corridor. The slanted afternoon sunlight hit me just right, making the layering of the outfit much more distinct. The combination of fishnet stockings and leather gloves is actually quite a test of comfort, but I pushed through and wore them all day for the sake of a sharp visual style. This time, I tried two states: closing my eyes to relax and opening them while holding the gun, aiming to showcase the contrast between Izuna's usual lazy, easygoing nature and her reliable presence in battle.

Both the lighting and composition were designed to fit the character's gentle yet slightly sly temperament. Every time I cosplay a character with such complex gear, the early preparation and post-processing feel highly challenging, but seeing these details perfectly presented in the final photos makes everything worth it.
