For this Tendo Kei cosplay from Blue Archive, I specially chose two different scenes to restore: a city pedestrian bridge and an indoor striped corridor. The coat features black and white color-blocking, layered with a white shirt and a bright blue tie, plus an externally draped jacket, making the layering of the entire outfit exceptionally strong. Additionally, a black bow headband is worn on the head, combined with the floating geometric halo on top. When light refracts through the halo, it truly replicates that cool yet casual feeling.

To stay as close as possible to the aura in the character design sheet, I paid special attention to controlling my facial expressions and physical movements during the shoot, such as the balancing act of lifting one leg, or the moment of turning back while leaning on the railing. Nowadays, everyone loves capturing this kind of dynamic feel, which is mainly to match the character's inherent independent and somewhat lazy everyday state.

When making this floating halo prop, in order not to affect the wearing of the wig and the overall visual effect, I repeatedly adjusted the fixed position of the headband. The finalized images came out with very translucent lighting; especially in those shots on the pedestrian bridge, the natural light cast a faint reflection on the white wig, making the highlights look extremely natural. The material of the costume is crucial, especially the outer oversized jacket; whether the silhouette can hold its shape directly determines the degree of restoration. Although the white long straight wig is quite time-consuming to style, if it doesn't stick flat to the scalp and leaves an appropriate amount of natural airy feel, it becomes much more vivid than a rigid wig. At that time, to restore the atmosphere of hair being blown by the wind, we waited on the pedestrian bridge for quite a while during this Outdoor photography session. Shooting by taking advantage of the city's elevated spots, the shutter was pressed right when the wind was perfect, beautifully capturing the feeling of those few strands of hair blowing against the cheeks.

Although this look is quite simple with distinct black and white colors, its tailoring is very sharp; a slight turn of the body or walking can showcase the flowing elegance of the costume. Also, that iconic rose-red lining, when revealed during putting on or taking off the jacket, adds a splash of bright color to the black-and-white appearance, ensuring it doesn't look visually monotonous. We also encountered quite a few passersby during our Outdoor photography, making the experience of role-playing in a real-life setting truly special for this Anime-style fashion.

Personally, I prefer this kind of non-bulky, structured clothing. Black tights paired with leather shoes make the proportions of the lower body look more balanced. In those shots taken on the indoor striped floor, I used the white lines on the ground as a visual guide, allowing the composition of the frame to echo the striped elements on the character. Shooting this set of photos gave me a deeper understanding of the everyday state of Tendo Kei from Blue Archive; this somewhat detached coldness actually makes it easier for me to get into character than wearing other flashy styles. With shots taken from various angles, I am very satisfied with this result.
