This Abydos High School uniform, paired with that iconic white-and-red firearm under the faint blue screen light, turned out quite satisfying in the photos.
Before shooting, I took extra care styling the pink wig, spending a lot of time adjusting the bangs, and re-secured the pink halo accessory on top of my head several times so it wouldn't look crooked. For the contacts, I chose a heterochromia look with blue in the left eye and orange in the right. Wearing them gave my gaze a slightly dreamy, dazed quality, perfectly matching the character's usual vibe of wanting to slack off while remaining thoroughly dependable when it counts.
The background was arranged like an esports room with vintage computer monitors and a gun rack. Once the blue-purple neon lights were turned on, the entire esports atmosphere immediately came alive. The pairing of the white shirt and dark plaid skirt is classic, while the black suspenders and black gloves add a sharp, neat touch. The prop firearm had great texture, though it got a bit heavy after holding it for a while.
I experimented with several poses during the shoot. My favorite is the third shot: leaning against the gaming chair, leaning forward, and extending both legs. Because I was wearing white stockings, this pose visually lengthened my leg lines without looking forced, giving off a relaxed yet docile charm. Since my arms were sore from holding the gun for so long, leaning forward allowed me to relax, making the shot look much more natural.
Channeling the mood of 'Sensei, hurry up, it's still so tiring,' I tried to capture that complex feeling of being slightly fatigued yet longing for someone to rely on. Even though it was a staged shoot, looking into the camera under that cool-toned lighting truly made it feel like I was waiting for someone. The contrast between the uniform's orthodox feel, the unruly gaze, and the weapon in hand created a striking gap charm. To present the best visual result, I deliberately preserved skin texture and fine details in post-editing without over-smoothing, keeping the clarity of the cool lighting to match this chilly cyberpunk atmosphere. Overall, the mood was captured well, and I did my best to grasp the essence of the character within my capability.
