This March 7th cosplay photoshoot was an absolute joy! Looking through the final pictures, all I can picture is rushing around that blooming sea of flowers that day. To authentically capture March 7th's vibrant energy, I dedicated a lot of thought to the hair and makeup. The blue-and-pink gradient eye color seen in the photos came from a pair of highly pigmented, translucent contact lenses chosen specifically to pop under outdoor sunlight; paired with her signature pink shoulder-length hair, I felt instantly transformed into that spirited girl.

As for the outfit, the blue-and-white uniform offers such a crisp, refreshing collegiate charm. The top combines different textures, with semi-sheer chiffon sleeves that shimmer delicately under natural light. The black choker and blue ribbon at the neckline are central to her look, so I constantly kept them straightened throughout the shoot. The glossy black leather waistband not only cinches the waist, but also accentuates the layered contours of the blue-and-white skirt, giving it great shape during movement. And of course, as one of the character's defining visual elements, the over-the-knee White stockings and black thigh strap were indispensable, paired with two-tone blue-and-black booties so the hem flutters with an adventurer's effortless lightness while walking.

The props brought along were equally thoughtful. A lavish bouquet of white and yellow wildflowers matched this sea of blossoms flawlessly. Then there was the bright blue camera, which wasn't merely a decorative prop—during breaks between takes, I actually took a few snapshots of the surrounding greenery and petals. Shooting across a flower field is deceptively demanding on stamina: maintaining a buoyant posture in full costume, constantly walking back and forth, squatting, and standing back up. Not to mention enduring little insects buzzing around the grass just to get the perfect shot. Yet the moment photographer @WenhaoLovePhotography called 'Ready!', I would instantly flash March 7th's signature radiant smile. After all, that is who she is: a bright girl forever full of life and eager to capture every memory.

Looking back on that day, the weather couldn't have been more wonderful—sunlight filtered through petals onto my face, and the entire sea of flowers swayed whenever a gentle breeze brushed past. Nestling my face into the floral bouquet or raising the camera as if capturing the scenery made me feel like an inseparable splash of color within spring itself. The skirt pleats and waist corset needed quick smoothing each time after rising from a crouch to keep that tidy, buoyant maidenly silhouette on camera. Choosing lenses with vivid color payoff ensured the blue-and-pink gradient stayed clear and bright under strong outdoor light, which, complemented by soft pink eyeshadow and blush, gave the overall look a fresh, radiant glow. The wildflower bouquet and retro-styled blue camera were wonderful touches as well—especially the camera, whose tone harmonized neatly with the outfit. Collaborating with photographer @WenhaoLovePhotography was effortless, capturing countless spontaneous, natural moments. Spring is truly the perfect season to photograph such a lively character; running through the floral fields while the wind swept through my hair and clothes washed away every worry. Remaining a joyful, smiling child forever sounds simple, but materializing that happiness before the lens was deeply fulfilling. Without the need for elaborate studio backdrops, nature's light and shadow, combined with heartfelt costuming, were more than enough to bring a vibrant March 7th to life.
