Sorting straight through behind-the-scenes moments from the Firefly ACG Expo, this Elysia Cosplay styling centered closely around styling details and the on-site environment. The top features an off-the-shoulder design in pieced white and purple, while the multi-layered skirt with outer sheer tulle gives it a voluminous look; however, walking outdoors made it prone to blowing in the wind and clinging to my legs, requiring constant straightening between transitions and takes. The wig is made of pink-and-white gradient fibers, styled with delicate curls along the sideburns and ends, while the floral wreath headpiece on top required U-pins in the gaps to stay secure and avoid tilting when turning my head.
The first two photos emphasize close-up gaze and texture. To match the color palette of this setting, the eye makeup used a purple-pink gradient, paired uniformly with light purple contact lenses. The final photo—used as the full-body cover—focused on holding the staff prop with a hand on my hip, styled with silver high heels and over-the-knee White stockings. The golden leg garter on the thigh had to be tightened firmly to stay up, though walking around left slight marks on the skin. The staff held is an assembled prop with a relatively long main body, requiring wrist strength to hold aloft; while filming videos and posing for landscape shots, the golden bottom piece dug into my hands slightly, though its overall texture was outstanding. Because the venue relied on natural light, ample daylight made the sheer tulle of the lavender skirt look delightfully translucent. The waistline of this costume is rather narrow; to keep natural torso lines while standing, slight core contraction was needed, and the petticoat hoop required constant adjustment to prevent shifting out of alignment. Beyond posing details, safety was prioritized when navigating the convention floor, deliberately avoiding narrow aisles where the staff tip might snag. Stripping away unnecessary filters and preserving the authentic pink-and-purple palette, the overall lighting ambiance harmonized wonderfully with this Honkai Impact 3rd character, making for a truly satisfying convention record.
