Taking the opportunity of Altria's birthday today, I compiled all the different forms I've cosplayed over the past half year into a single collection. Looking at so many distinct styles brings a unique sense of novelty to each stage. The span of styles this time was truly vast, and the shooting process was filled with unforgettable memories.
We began with the white formal gown by the piano, where the set design and lighting were very particular: a black piano paired with white tulle and flowers created an elegant, serene ambiance. This composition was quiet, aiming to highlight the ethereal aura of the King while balancing expressions so as not to look overly cold. Styling the ahoge took quite some time to prevent it from drooping. The makeup underwent about four different variations, ranging from a breathable everyday base to battle-damaged aesthetics. Because Saber's eyes are distinctive, contact lens selection was especially meticulous; subtle translucency best captured both regal majesty and tenderness.
Later, I tried the motorcycle look, which brought the sharpest contrast. Wearing leather jackets and pants in the summer heat while posing with a motorcycle was challenging—the bike was hot, and poses easily looked stiff if not careful. Paired with black leather boots, a biker jacket, and night neon lighting mixing red and blue tones, the result was incredibly cool. The stockings were chosen specifically to flatter leg lines while conveying athletic power beside the bike. The academy look featured a white shirt, blue pleated skirt, and black tights—a classic student vibe where holding the Holy Sword created a delightful gap moe between a well-behaved student and a fierce warrior.
The winter-themed Christmas snow globe and fireplace sets left a deep impression. Despite the Christmas theme, it was shot out of season; sitting inside the snow globe with faux cotton made my skin itchy, requiring repeated posing to capture a satisfied smile, while the fireplace offered warm coziness. The seaside black dress shoot was an adventure—strong sea winds blew my hair and dress wildly, yet yielded very natural dynamics. Holding an ice cream and a gun created an intriguing, playful contrast. The studio's dark blue dress and formal suit sets had distinct appeals: the blue dress accentuated silhouette and leg lines with black heels and stockings for a cool, alluring look, while the suit projected an ascetic, disciplined presence, holding the longsword before the fireplace with commanding authority. The armored set captured the soul of the character; holding that sword instantly brought the tension of the battlefield to mind.
Every aspect—from hair and makeup to wardrobe, props, and post-processing—was finely polished to embody her dual nature of majestic authority and gentle warmth as a Heroic Spirit. Seeing all these styles united gives an immense sense of accomplishment.
