My original intention for shooting this 2B cosplay was to use the cold, hard heavy industrial plant to balance out the character's gothic delicacy. Short white hair, a black blindfold, an open-back black dress, paired with these intensely imposing patent leather over-the-knee boots—visually, it creates classic black-and-white tension. For the location, we selected an abandoned industrial complex filled with rusted metal railings, colossal cylindrical storage tanks, and steel staircases with anti-slip patterns. This rugged physical texture matched the post-apocalyptic wasteland atmosphere of the character's setting surprisingly well.

I put a lot of thought into the costume. The most challenging part was actually the cut and fit of the blindfold, which had to seamlessly transition into the bangs. The skirt features white embroidered patterns, and the chest and waist belt have custom geometric lines. To recreate these details, the fabric selection and tailoring had to be extremely precise to avoid any cheap look. The black feather/fur trim on the sleeves added depth to the overall look, making the character feel sophisticated in addition to her coldness. The katana prop I held was custom-made; the diamond wrapping on the hilt and the metallic finish of the tsuba reflected varying cool gleams under the industrial ambient light.

During the shoot, to prevent the character's aura from getting lost in the clutter of the scene, I selected spaces with depth for composition. In some photos, I sat directly on the factory's iron stairs to show off the advantage of the patent leather boots; paired with a slightly leaning-forward pose, the leg lines and the sheen of the Black stockings became the visual focus of the frame. In other photos, I walked onto elevated catwalks or spiral staircases, using the geometric lines of the railings as leading lines to broaden the perspective, imbuing the scene with a sense of solitude and exploration.

The lighting for this shoot was also quite fascinating; the photographer experimented with two completely different lighting approaches. One was similar to an overexposed backlight treatment, where my entire silhouette was illuminated by intense light from behind to create a dazzling flare effect—even the edges of my short silver hair glowed, conveying an ethereal and illusory post-apocalyptic afterglow ambiance. The other was a cool blue studio-like lighting setup, casting an eerie blue ambient glow across the dim factory floor that dyed surrounding metal pipes and railings deep blue, which was perfect for expressing the character's icy, deadly aura. In post-processing, we mainly enhanced the black-and-white contrast and subtly crushed shadow details, steering the overall look toward a cool-toned blend of cyberpunk and wasteland aesthetics.

To be honest, climbing up and down an abandoned factory in these ultra-high-heeled over-the-knee boots was physically exhausting. Stepping onto textured steel plates and open metal mesh gratings meant carefully finding my balance with every single step. Yet, standing on those staggered industrial staircases, clutching the prop while the wind billowed through my skirt, I felt all the hard work was completely worth it. The charm of this character lies in her fatalistic resolve. Though photos express things statically, I hope to convey her loneliness and resilience as she fulfills her mission amidst apocalyptic ruins. The shooting process was also a re-experience of the character's core, feeling her subtle emotions among machines and wreckage.
