For this official photo set, we chose a vintage European-style setting; the red velvet sofa and warm amber bokeh were a match made in heaven. Eggs, sugar, and almonds—I brought them myself! These iconic little props are the soul of recreating the young lady's demeanor.

During pre-shoot prep, many friends asked how to handle such a complex costume. It isn't just about putting on clothes; you have to meticulously layer the corset, stockings, and leg armor, which takes immense patience. In particular, the layers of the blue-and-black color-blocked vest and skirt hem can easily look bulky if you're not careful, requiring continuous adjustments to the waist-cinching ties. The diamond-patterned thigh-highs on the legs, paired with metallic knee guards and high heels, visually elongated my proportions. When posing for this Vintage style outfit, I deliberately searched for flattering angles—such as crossing my legs or tilting my torso slightly—allowing light and shadow to flow gracefully along the leg lines.

On the day of the shoot, we adjusted the camera position several times just to wait for the ideal rim lighting. When the light filtered through the brim of the hat onto my face, that soft contour glow was breathtaking. In the lulls waiting for the light, I would twirl the parasol handle in my hand or sit cross-legged on the red sofa with a wine glass, instantly locking into the character's zone. Navia's design features many poses that are dashing yet elegant—raising a toast, holding a parasol, or adjusting her hat. I kept experimenting with diverse hand gestures before the camera, as hand placement dictates the dynamic tension of the entire upper body.

I also paid special attention to communicating with the photographer. For full-body shots, my core had to stay tight, lifting the hips and tucking the abdomen; otherwise, the compass ornament on the waist would slip out of alignment. For medium close-up portraits, the eyes needed penetrating power, blended with a hint of playful pride and regal authority. I love the process of aligning with a character through fine-tuning subtle expressions. The costume itself carries a powerful vintage and European flair, and the metallic reflections possessed rich tactile depth under warm light. The shifting overcast daylight and the rays of warm sun streaming through the window infused the photos with deep ambiance.

Regarding fabric and materials, the layered interplay of metal clasps and lace meant movements couldn't be stiff; visual weight needed to rest on the contours of the waist, abdomen, and legs. Thus, I chose seated poses that seemed casual yet held intense tension, striving to portray that confident, composed, elegant, and dashing demeanor. Especially under backlighting, the texture of the thigh-highs was exquisite, which is why I deliberately explored multiple shooting angles. Leaning back, leaning forward, lifting a leg—micro-adjusting every pose required continuous harmony with the photographer. After all, highlighting the subject without disrupting the nostalgic mood in a room adorned with vintage newspapers and fresh flowers takes true rapport. I am thoroughly satisfied with the final cosplay photos, which seamlessly blend the character's valor with noble grace, and I hope to share these behind-the-scenes takeaways with fellow fans.
