[Sakuya Izayoi cosplay] Touhou Project: The Perfect and Elegant Head Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion

For this shoot, we mainly chose a blue backdrop complemented by a black-and-white checkerboard floor, a tilted silver frame on the side, and a white classical statue. The outfit was a custom-tailored blue-and-white dress with crisp fabric and a voluminous petticoat, making putting it on and turning around quite strenuous while requiring constant posture maintenance. The wig was silver-white with side braids, paired with blue contact lenses and cool-toned makeup to match the character's calm, composed demeanor. During the shoot, I held daggers, carefully controlling the subtlety of my facial expressions and movements to avoid looking stiff. The full-body composition utilized a low-angle shot, where the adjacent statue and overhead suspended frame guided the viewer's gaze, while the Stockings worn on my legs were naturally showcased in motion. The blue backdrop and prop reflections on set added a cool, surreal aesthetic to the frame. To express that signature elegance and poise, the focus of my gaze and the tension of holding the knives were meticulously adjusted. This Touhou Project character costume features abundant details, including the bow tie, chest pocket-watch accessory, and layered lace cuffs, which required constant attention to prevent looking messy. Communicating pose angles with the photographer ensured body proportions appeared more elongated. Through such sharp staging and composition, we aimed to capture the paradoxical blend of elegance and underlying danger unique to this Head maid cosplay from the Scarlet Devil Mansion.
