For BW2025 Day 2, I tested out the Saber costume from the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate collaboration. This blue dress has strict demands on the waistline silhouette, and adjusting the back lacing to sit flat and snug took considerable time. The layered tiers of the skirt are well executed, though the inner lining is slightly thick, feeling a bit warm and stuffy when walking around indoors. The sword prop in hand is much heavier than expected—lifting it with one hand takes serious effort. While finding solid support points during the shoot, both arms ended up completely sore after finishing group photos. The classic pairing of black Stockings and tall boots looked great, though the rigid boot soles were quite a test for the ankles while walking.

Since another key goal of this fitting was looking for cosplay partners, let's focus on the experience with Skirk. This Genshin Impact gear features extensive geometric cut designs. The wig is silver-white; securing the pointed hair accessories at the crown is tricky, but it elevates the character's presence dramatically in photos. To keep the long sword from bumping into the scabbards and costume trim on either side, balance and center of gravity had to be carefully managed while posing. The blue-purple crystalline gradient Stockings are distinctive and thick; they photograph beautifully under lighting, though taking them on and off requires caution to avoid warping the pattern. The straps at the upper thighs also add great design depth.

This session was primarily pre-convention prep for BW2025 to evaluate the overall visual effect. After trying them on, both outfits look fantastic on camera, though they certainly demand physical endurance. Hopefully, I can find co-cosplayers for Archer, Rin, and Childe/Bronya to complete our group lineup. For anyone planning to cosplay these two outfits, I recommend paying attention to the sword's counterweight and the skirt's wrinkle resistance. That's all for today's fitting log—looking forward to exchanging tips at the convention and shooting more fun editorial photos together!
